Ton nouveau masque préféré !

Suite à la vidéo d’Alexandra Larouche ainsi que ses nombreuses stories Instagram à propos de ce masque, il a bien fallu que je me le procure. Pour quelqu’un à la peau grasse à tendance acnéique comme moi, tous les moyens sont bons pour obtenir une belle peau.

Pour obtenir un maximum de résultat, il faut mettre deux parts égales du masque et du vinaigre de cidre de pomme (trouvé à l’épicerie). Puis, on mélange la petite solution pétillante pour que ce soit homogène. Assurez-vous d’utiliser des outils en plastique ou en verre puisque le métal enlève les effets du masque (demandez-moi pas pourquoi). Pour mon visage, la quantité d’une cuillère en plastique est suffisante pour le couvrir au complet. Si tu trouves que le mélange est un peu trop liquide, attends quelques minutes avant de l’appliquer et le mélange va s’épaissir.(au lieu d’ajouter de la poudre.) On laisse agir une couche épaisse pour environ 20 minutes sur le visage.

Je vous le dis tout de suite, ça sent pas bon, ce n’est pas tant agréable, mais ça marche ! En-tout-cas, pour ma part le vinaigre de cidre de pomme n’est certainement pas mon odeur favorite. J’ai senti ma peau se resserrer et ma circulation s’activer. Je te le dis tout suite, tu vas avoir l’air d’avoir attrapé un coup de soleil dans le visage! Inquiète-toi pas, ça part après un moment et ça fait son effet.

Why ever buy another mask?

I've tried this a few times now, and am increasingly happy with the results.

Firstly, it is a bit uncomfortable to use. The clay comes powdered, you turn it into the mask by adding water or apple cider vinegar (I've been using the ACV as recommended). Once it starts drying on your face, it stings a bit! It shrinking so much that you can feel your face pulsating. Push through this step! It's worth it if you can leave it on for over 20 minutes.

It's a bit hard to get off because it is literally dried clay on your face. Be patient, wash with warm water - the results are worth it!

You may notice a bit of redness after, don't be alarmed - its normal. This mask is detoxifying, so that's the signs that it's working on your skin. It's pulling out all your skins toxins.

Lastly, it's very important to moisturize after using this mask! It's very drying, so make sure not to skip this step!

All in all, I'm very happy with this mask. I'm even happier that you hardly need any to do your face, so this large tub I got will last me ages!

The Holy grail of face masks

I love that the ingredients to make this mask are simple and natural. The clay also has many different other purposes, such as insect bite relief. I recommend mixing it with equal parts of ACV and leaving it on as a face mask. Beware, if you have sensitive skin don't leave it on too long. It does the best job as a facial mask though. Leaves your skin soft and pores clean.

When it advertises it will "make your face pulsate" it wasn't lying.
After 15-30 minutes depending on how thick you make the face your face tingles and the mask drastically tightens whether or not that is my skin it feels nice. The clean up is very messy process though, my gosh!

"Holy crap."
Those were the first words out of my mouth the first time I used this product. It is intense, and not for the faint of heart (or for those with extremely sensitive skin). You mix the clay powder with apple cider vinegar or water, brush it on your face and let it dry. As it dries, it tugs at your skin, and feels almost uncomfortably tight. I do find it difficult to remove with my konjac sponge, but I am willing to exert the patience for something that almost immediately removed the blackheads around my nose. I have never had anything remove my blackheads so visibly, and since using this product twice a week, my pores are so much clearer! Hands down, the best clay mask I have ever used, and at an AMAZING price!
