good dry shampoo for dark hair

This dry shampoo works great with dark hair. This brand is generally a premium brand with nice smell and leaves hair nice and refreshed. I would definitely purchase again.

Don’t waste your money

So I purchased the Batiste Divine Dark dry shampoo with hopes of it camouflaging my thin hair and to darken any grey roots between dye jobs. Well... it sprays on a greyish color that you must work in with your fingers to darken; which also causes it to break up and you’re left with a black dust all over your forehead (my thinning is in front)! I was really hoping this product would be what I expected it to be, but it wasn’t

It works!

This is one of the only dry shampoos that works on me for the price point. Also nice that it has some dark colour in it for us dark haired girls, making it easier to blend in.

I bought this stuff after I had back surgery and wasn't able to shower. Thought it would be a good way to keep my hair from looking disgusting.

First thing is that my hair felt gross in a different way after using this. I only sprayed it on my roots, but it made my whole head of hair feel like hay, and made my scalp really itchy. I could feel it there. I tried a lot of different ways to use it, because I really wanted this to work. I tried using less, but my hair still looked greasy. I tried using more, but then my hair felt even more hay like and the itching was worse. I tried massaging it in, I tried letting it soak up the grease and then massaging it. I scoured google for different ways to apply this stuff and tried everything I could find. No matter what, it was unpleasant.

I thought that having the darker colour would be better because it wouldn't look like dandruff. And that was true, but I also found that throughout the day it would migrate to my forehead and I'd have dark marks on my forehead that looked like I had dirt on me or something (this happened even when I didn't even use enough to take away the greasiness in my hair). When I would wash my face at night there would be a lot of dark stuff coming off of my face so I think the flakes or whatever they are were actually getting all over my face.

I'm pretty sure it was clogging the pores on my forehead around the hairline as well, because I only get a few pimples usually around my mouth area, but I was getting several on the top of my forehead and around my hairline, while using this. Once I stopped, the pimples went away.

Aside from these things, I have allergies when I use aerosol hairspray (Sneezing mostly) and this gave me the same reaction, so if you're still thinking of giving it a try, if you have aerosol allergies, then I strongly recommend not using this. You will be sneezing all day!

Works beautifully for people with dark hair, no more white powdery hair ! I've gone through four maybe even more cans of it. Will recommend to everyone !

This dry shampoo saves me!!! I recently used it on a trip, and it allowed my usual greasy hair to skip a day between washes! My hair is generally pretty greasy, and usually if I wash and straighten it in the morning, by the night it's super greasy looking. But with this stuff I just sprayed, rubbed it through my hair and it looked so clean. I've had bad luck with dry shampoos in the past, so to have this work so well was a godsend!!!

After becoming annoyed with the typical white chalky residue left over by many of the dry shampoos i've tried i'm so thankful i've found this one. It works just like the other batiste cans but has a brown tint to the product so that it doesn't look like you've dumped a bottle of baby powder in your hair. Be aware that because of the tint it can rub off onto light coloured clothes and it will transfer to your hands while working with your hair.

I like the smell of the product but it made my hair look dull. I have oily hair at the hairline so I would spray it there and it had a weird sheen to it. I really wished it worked better.

It didn't last long and it made my scalp very itchy it rubbed onto my top and left a residue on my brush bristles I don't think I would buy this product again

Absolutely love this dry shampoo!! I have dark hair so dry shampoos tend to leave a bit of a white cast on my hair, especially one with such a low price. I love this one as it it the colour of my hair and takes the shine from my hair without feeling too thick or gritty!
