Love this little sponge! A little on the pricey side for a sponge, you can find other brands that sell similar sponges for cheaper but I find them not to be as affective. Once rinsed in water it grows to be the size of a kinder egg, works best when wetted tocgelp blend in makeup and not absorb/waste all your products. Will last you a while if cleaned regularly and cared for properly.

I normally purchase beauty blender sponges by Sephora, but I find that you can find cheaper sponges such as at Walmart by E.L.F. It has the same effect/quality, except you will be paying a lot less.

What have I been missing? Wow, this sponge applies makeup so well. It's much better than using a brush. I had been using a brush for years, until I decided to try this. I will never go back. This sponge applies my makeup so evenly and quickly. Doesn't leave a cakey look but instead leaves a fresh look. Very happy with this item.

I recently purchased a beauty blender to see what all the hype was about and I'm glad I did! There a little pricey in my opioin (6$) but they really do work wonders ! Your supposed to add a little water to the sponger and dab on your make up and it goes on looking dewy and fresh, I find they do rip fairly easy so if you have longer nails you have to be careful not to rip the sponge. I will be switching out my bagged sponges to you use the bueaty blender more consistently.

The sponge works well on my foundation, powder and cream-based contour. For my morning make-up routine, I can use one sponge to achieve a full face of makeup look. However, after I have use this sponge for a month, I notice some tear near the tip. I am very disappointed with this since I was hoping to use this sponge for at least 3 month before repurchasing a new one. I am in the process to try other beauty blender dupes to see if they would come close to the original one at a fraction of its price.

I am amazed by this makeup sponge. So simple yet very effective in blending your foundation in your skin. It is a non-disposible sponge so you can use it all the time. Just lightly wash it with a mild soap and air dry it. I like too put my foundation on the top of my hand then dip the sponge into the foundation and lightly pad it onto my skin. It creates a flawless application and blends with ease. What Im truly amazed about this product is that when I use my foundation the sponge does NOT absorb your foundation. I noticed with many sponges out there that it will absorb all my foundation and soak it in and make it a complete waste of product. I will defiantly buy this sponge again when mine is worn out.

You can buy this for $30CAN at Shoppers Drug Mart.

Best makeup sponge i have tried so far. It makes applying foundation and concealer much faster and efficient. I would definitely reccomend this to anyone just starting out with makeup.

Great addition to my makeup kit since it's basically a multi-tasking sponge. Immediately fell in love with it. My main use for it is foundation and concealer and it has a fantastic application. Really airbrushed finish, no creasing, and really soft when bouncing it on the face. It is best when used damp, even for powders. It's a bit tough to clean since it picks and holds quite a bit of product, but I use baby shampoo and it works wonders plus definitely cheaper than the solid/liquid cleanser they sell. A bit of dye can come out while cleaning but it's very typical of the sponge and the color doesn't stick to anything

First off, I will start by saying this: the beautyblender is fantastic at blending out liquid products, and gives you a smooth canvas on your face. I have no gripes about how it performs.

However, it is NOT WORTH the price! The fact that is soaks up my foundation, takes lots of care to stay clean and prevent bacteria from growing, and needs to be treated with care to prevent rips is not worth the price point of $28. Plus, the company recommends you to replace this after a few months. That is expensive!

I am a firm believer that with enough time spent on blending, any brush (I personally love the e.l.f. Ultimate Blending Brush) will create the same effect as the beauty blender. Even so, there are cheaper options available at the drugstore nowadays (the new sponge from L'oreal is an exact dupe of the beautyblender). There are just so many cheaper options that I don't see myself shelling out the extra money for the same effect.
