I use to use my fingers to help me blend my concealer on but I thought I would give it a try and use a beauty blender (the micromini) instead. I thought that it worked better, especially in the narrower areas around the nose where and it helps that my fingers stay clean!

The beauty blender is the only makeup sponge that really works for me. My fondation is 100% more natural using the beauty blender than using a fondation brush. I absolutely love it.
Bad point : the sponge is crumbling whereas it's only been 6 month since I bought it.

For the longest time I resisted purchasing this product because I found it way too expensive for a sponge. However, when I finally gave in I have to admit that it works amazingly! Spreads/blends foundation effortlessly, makes my make up look so airbrushed and natural. And it cuts down on the time I spend each day on my makeup!

In my opinion the original Beauty Blender is the perfect tool for anyone who has problems with makeup going to cake or thick. This allows me to use half the amount of foundation and it looks absolutely flawless. I don't find it hard to keep clean at all, I gently wash it with any gentle bar of soap (works just as well as the Beauty Blender branded cleanser!) and it comes out perfectly. Always make sure to let it dry in a cool, dry place in between uses and wash it often to avoid mold.

I recently bought this after hearing so much about it. Obviously the $30 price tag sucks, but depending on how long it lasts before it needs replacing, it's a good investment. I've always had issues with my makeup going on cakey, since I need full coverage. The BB applies it in a way that looks incredibly natural. My one complaint is that because you need to get it damp, your foundation will apply a lot more sheer. But thankfully it's buildable. I've also noticed the pink colour bleeds a lot when washing, although I haven't noticed any transfer to my skin yet.

I decided to splurge on it because of all the reviews I read and watched on youtube. I bought it at sephora for 26$ (I live in Canada). Before buying this, I had the quo makeup blender. Compared to that one, the original beauty blender is really good. I usually only use it for concealer and foundation and the application is flawless and makes my makeup look natural. However, washing it was a pain. I am a neat freak so I had to make it 100% clean. Foundation was always still stuck in it a lot of times so once, I used my nail to get the dirt out. I HIGHLY ADVICE YOU ALL TO NOT DO IT, because it made a small hole in my beauty blender and the next times I washed it, it got very heavy and felt really weird (because the water was easily absorbed through the hole). Later on, I discovered that the original beauty blender makes a cleanser as well. I thought it was a waste of money so I tried washing my sponge with Sunlight's dish soap. IT WORKS WONDERS, I swear it cleans it perfectly.

Overall,
pros: applies makeup flawlessly, very soft
cons: the price, the material is very fragile (referring to the hole I accidentally made)

I don't think of buying another one after this one dies, because I have heard good reviews about the Real techniques makeup sponge, and that one is way cheaper and performs as well as this one (apparentely). Anyway, I hope my review helped! :)

Tried this product due to all the high raves, and have got to say they were correct. This thing makes your foundation flawless. also you only need to use half of the foundation you normally use. BONUS!! The price is expensive at about $30 but I will say well worth the investment. The one downside I will say is that it can be a bit hard to clean and i sometimes feel that there is still some makeup residue left on it. I have actually bout this product twice now. I found they last about 3-4 months.

On va se le dire le beauty blender, c'est un outil de maquillage révolutionnaire ! Avec cela c'est tellement facile d'utilisation et le rendu est beaucoup plus uniforme qu'avec soit nos mains ou des pinceaux. Bref, c'est un outil génial, malheureusement ce n'est pas un produit qui est abordable, je dirais même que c'est un produit un peu plus de luxe car le prix est assez élevé mais selon moi, cela vaut la peine d'économiser un peu pour s'en procurer car c'est vraiment un très bon produit !

While $28 CAD is on the pricey side for a makeup sponge, this little sponge works wonders! I use it to apply under eye concealer, which goes on smooth and creates an airbrush finish. I love it! Use it everyday! If you want your beauty blender to last, make sure to clean it using the beauty blender cleansers (solid or liquid) after every use!

This was REALLY expensive for what it was - a sponge. At first, I used it to apply my foundation and I hated it. I prefer to use a brush since the beauty blender takes a long time to spread & apply the product all over my face.

I was about to sell it / give it away when I decided to use it with other products. This is really great for blending out contours !! I use it with a cream product - the Nars Multiple - and it blends it out so naturally ! Loving it right now.

The trick is to make sure the sponge is completely soaked then REALLY towel-dried. If it isn't, the sponge will be too wet and spread the product out terribly.
