Just like butter but plant based!!

I was so excited about this product as I have been trying to eat more plant based foods. This is a good alternative to butter and it tastes good. I have sautéed and pan fried with it and no one could tell it was not butter. I have yet to bake with it.

Difficult to find, but worth it

While it was difficult to find this product under covid restrictions, I was pleasantly surprised that it tasted as good as it does! I'm a complete sceptic when it comes to margarines of any kind, but would buy this for lent and when I can't have dairy. Very glad I was introduced to this butter alternative! Still can't 100% leave butter, because undying love for it, but this is a really amazing option. Very smooth, and important to me that you can get it unsalted!

Best alternative out there

I got this product free courtesy of FamilyRated.com. I am excited to review this after making some butter pecan tarts using this vegan-friendly, non-dairy brick! It mimics the taste and texture of dairy butter really well. It’s great for potlucks too since many people have Dietary restrictions. My sister is lactose intolerant so she was happy to hear that she was able to enjoy it!

great taste and bonus is they are plant based

These unsalted bricks worked great in the cookies I made. The taste was great and the texture was good. I love that they are plant-based. I prefer using unsalted because many recipes call for added salt. I got to try this product free of charge for review purposes as part of the Product Review Club. I would recommend it and plan to purchase it in the future.

I would buy again

This Becel product tasted very good. I liked that it was unsalted and I used in my recipe in place of butter. I definitely would buy it again. I had trouble finding it at first but eventually did. Hope they continue to have it available. The texture was a lot like butter so works well, Thank you for allowing me to #tryitfree.

Yummy, user friendly alternative!

Used it for baking, making my homemade mayo recipe and mixed into pasta with garlic and Romano. Passed all the tests with flying colours. Great flavour and no texture issues. Loved the easy use packaging and nice clear "unsalted" on label was refreshing -as no brainer to pick option. Would recommend product without reservation! Will purchase again!

The Becel unslated bricks are great, right out of the fridge they are easy to scrape a thin layer for toast and if you plan ahead and remove from fridge a little earlier, the brick softens up quickly for easy spreading. They will separate in warm weather so best in the fridge or easy on the counter in the winter.

I received a free coupon for the Becel plant based brick and I used this product to make my buttercream icing. When I make buttercream icing I always use real butter but I decided to give this alternative a shot. It actually tasted really close to the real thing and no one noticed the difference at all! I am happy with this product and it is also cheaper to buy than real butter in my area. It's definitely a tasty alternative!
