I can't believe this has no dairy in it!

I was so excited to try this ice cream but honestly I didn't want to spend $9.99 on it because I tried another brand of dairy free ice cream and I was not impressed with it. Trying the Cherry Garcia it tatted exactly like ice cream should! It was very delicious and after a long 7 months of no ice cream I did not want to put this down!
If I I was going to make one complaint my compliant would be the chips of chocolate in it are almost tooth breaking hard, so that being I wouldn't give this ice cream to my children(bonus, I want it all to myself!) as I don't want to take them to the dentist!

I can't wait to try the rest of the flavours, I hope they are just as good as this one!

Ben and Jerry's is my favorite!!

I absolutely love Ben and Jerrys ice cream so was super happy that they have a few varieties of dairy-free options as I can't eat dairy anymore. It is a great alternative that REALLY tastes like real ice cream. Same texture, same taste, same consistency... it's just perfect. Even my boyfriend who can eat regular ice cream took a bite and told me that he couldn't tell the difference!
The actual flavor cherry garcia is really good too, not my favorite from all their dairy free options, but still really good! It has little chunks of cocoa in it which were amazing, and your typical maraschino cherries. I personally would have preferred if the cherries were more of a real cherry and not the sweetened ones.
If I would have to mention a bad point about this product it would have to be the price. I have never seen the small tub for less than 5$. It's really over priced, but it is a 'specialty' product as it not made with the same ingredients are normal ice cream.
I would definitely buy from this brand again, and the flavor as well!

Tastes Like the Dairy Version

I tried the Cherry Garcia flavor and was surprised by how much it tastes like the dairy version. I liked the chocolate flavor and the cherry sweetness in the pink ice cream. The dark chocolate goes well with the cherry. I would definitely purchase this again.

I received this product free from Chick Advisor and it taste amazing! Personally I can tell by the taste that its non-dairy however the ice cream is very creamy. I defiantly think its worth purchasing again because for the price you get a lot of cherries and chocolate chunks.

I got a coupon to redeem a free ben and jerry's non dairy frozen dessert and boy was it hard to find in my area. All sold out ! Now i know why. It is so creamy, hard to believe it's non dairy. And the taste is very decadent. It is a little pricey though, but well worth it.

big chunks of chocolate and cherries!

I was very excited to receive the new Ben & Jerry's® Non-Dairy Frozen Dessert in CHERRY GARCIA for testing purposes. The texture is a bit light but the almond flavour is very nice. I love the big chunks of dark chocolate and the cherries. It is a small container but packed full of high quality dairy-free ice cream. My husband is lactose-intolerant so this is a perfect treat for him that he can indulge in guilt-free!

Great cherry taste but the ice "cream"is not creamy

I received this product for free as part of Chickadvisor's review club.

I have tasted the original Ben & Jerry's Cherry Garcia ice cream before, it is a classic flavor with a pronounced cherry taste in a very smooth and creamy ice cream. This non-dairy option tries its best to replicate the same flavor using big chunks of real cherries and chocolate, however the base smells very strongly of almonds and without the fruit or chocolate, it doesn't hold much flavor.

To compensate, there is a high sugar content along with corn syrup. This is in no means a healthier alternative but it is ideal for those who are lactose intolerant or vegan. You will not get the same creaminess compared to regular ice cream, this is closer to a sorbet or frozen yogurt type desert.

Retailing at $6.99 at my local Walmart, for the small pint, this is a very expensive product. If you are a glutton, you could finish the small tub in one sitting or share it with another person. I would never purchase this for myself, even the cheapest type of ice cream has more substance than this dairy free alternative.

Worth a try if you need to avoid dairy, otherwise forget it.

I can't stop eating it!!

I am in love with this product and it was so hard to stop eating it. You cannot tell it's dairy free, it's sweet and smooth and creamy. But my FAVOURITE part, is the cherry and chocolate chunks. There are literally pieces of cherries and chocolate chucks and it takes it from great to amazing. I would highly recommend this product and I do plan on buying it again. #Gotitfree

DE-LI-CI-OUS!!

Oh my god, the non-dairy ice cream tated like heaven! The flavour is rich, smooth and creamy, with big chocolate chunks and cherries. It is better than the original! you really have to try it.

I was fortunate enough to try this product for free with ChickAdvisor and I was excited to try a non-dairy ice cream for the first time! If I didn't know, I wouldn't have guessed there's no milk. There's alot of cherries and chocolate chunks which is awesome! I would recommend. I probably wouldn't buy it again just because of the price that I find too high for the quantity, but if you're an ice cream fanatic and lactose intolerant and wants to indulge yourself, it's worth it!
