This review hurts me as I am a huge Benefit fan, but after going to two professionals to learn how to use this product it totally doesn't work. It crumbles, dries to quickly, doesn't work evenly and pulls at my eyes more than cheap pencil. Ended up using Maybelline Kajal as a wonderful alternative.

It is difficult to apply and remove. It smears. Not good for oily skin.

I love gel eyeliners and this sits rite on the shelf with the kind i love gelled and waterproof just perfect i would choose this over liquid not a pro with those so this eyeliner makes it easier for me.

Goes on easy, perfect shade of black! Last all day, easy to apply!

I do not really recommend this product, it just was not for me. The formula itself isn't terrible but the rubbery applicator tip, to me, made it harder to apply a neat line.

I am definitely a fan of this liner. I think that a common misconception, however, is that it'll be easy to use on your first try -- heads up, this will probably not be the case for most of us! It takes practice to get used to manoeuvring this liner; there's definitely a learning curve here! I found that I had to practice and play with it a few times before I was able to get the perfect cat eye down pat. But now that I have gotten used it it, I'm loving this! I've even been getting more compliments on my eyes lately! I love that this liner comes on very opaque -- once you've gotten the proper technique down, there's no need to retrace your lines multiple times! In fact, I actually try to avoid doing this because I find that it makes the liner more likely to flake off. Also, another tip -- make sure you clean off the tip before each use. This will ensure that you don't have old, gross product that's hardened coming off on your eyes! Also, this product can be pretty difficult to get off (which is, unfortunately, a big con) so you really have to make sure that you're uber careful when you're applying it, so that you don't end up making a mistake. However, overall, despite this and the fact that it's expensive, it's definitely one of the better liquid eyeliners I've tried, so I would repurchase this :)! I love the way it makes my eyes pop.

I am a HUGE fan of Benefit and have nearly their entire line! I was super excited for this gadget and it just turned out to be a gimmick. I thought I had hit the jackpot after watching the videos because up to this point I wasn't able to create a good winged liner consistently. The first time I used it, I was blown away...quick, easy, flawless winged eye! When I went to use it a second time, I had trouble getting the product to come up and when it did, it would just crumble. I wasn't able to get a smooth defined line...it was just really disappointing overall...I wasted so much product. No matter how much you think this product will work, it won't. Don't buy it!

I actually received the Benefit They're Real Push Up Liner as a free product for review when it first came out, so it was nice to try out.

I love eyeliners, eye shadow, mascara etc. The eyemake is one of my staples.

I've been using a variety of different liners - liquid, brush with wet shadow etc, so I was really excited to try this one. The ads made it out to appear like it goes on extremely smooth. It didn't work that way for me. Now, I've tried this liner a few times to see if it was the technique or what, but it doesn't go on smooth for me at all. I normally apply eyeliner wings fairly easily with all my other liners but this one just went on bad. It wasn't smooth at all and looked very clumpy I'd say. I'm still giving it 3 because I think maybe, just maybe, with a whole lot of practice, this could look nice. But, it's so much easier with all the other liners that I just don't want to try it a dozen times to finally get it right when I'm busy rushing out the door. Added to that, this liner is more of a charcoal and I'm weary of charcoal liners because the oil on my skin makes it smudge by mid day normally.

I would most likely not get this again.

Eyeliner is something that I have had a love hate relationship with . I like how it looks but putting it on can sometimes we difficult. Benefit recently introduced this gel liner which has changed the eye liner game in my option. Simply twist the liner and then s apply it on your lids! It's that easy. The slated applicator makes it that much easy. I love this product and will buy it again. It has saved time in my make-up routine. The only thing is not to twist up too much or you will have to much product.

This eyeliner is my absolute favourite! It looks amazing and really makes my eyes pop! I love how matte it is! The only issue with this product is that it takes a lot of getting used to. It's extremely difficult to put on at first, but once you get used to it, its amazing!
