Light Moisturizer with Great Benefits

Adding this moisturizer after my acne treatments helps moisturize and exfoliate to keep my skin smoothie. I need a little heavier moisturizer, but it is perfect paired with my moisturizing sunscreen for daytime.

Good moisturizer

I have received the Benzagel® After Care Moisturizing Lotion from @thisisbutterly and @benzegelcanada for free in exchange for my honest opinion.

I’ve been applying the moisturizer after using the Benzagel cleanser in the morning for about 2 weeks now with no issues. The consistency of the lotion seems a bit watery compared to others I’ve used before. The lotion is very light and breathable. It doesn’t leave your skin oily or sticky like many moisturizers do. There is no scent so this can be a great product for someone who is sensitive to smells. My skin feels moisturized, healthier and softer.

Perfect and non greasy

benzagel acne after care moisturizer is so light weight and non greasy. It absorbs into the skin so quickly and leaves skin plumped and hydrated and has very mild smell.

An effective moisturizer!

I received this product complimentary in exchange for my honest review. I am a biracial woman in my mid-30s with oily, acne-prone skin. I used this lotion every morning & night for approx. 1 week and paired it with the Acne Wash and the Acne Gel. I received this product around the time of my period and as I tend to breakout around this time, it was perfect for testing. The consistency is very light - it absorbs well and it highly moisturizing. It sits well under foundation also. No unpleasant scents either!

Not hydrating enough for my dry skin

This is a very light, runny moisturizer, best for those who want a lighter moisturizer as it won't be hydrating enough for drier skin types. It absorbs very quickly into the skin with no tackiness and my skin feels soft and smooth after using it but it doesn't feel very hydrated. This was my least favourite of the 3 products but would be the one I would be more inclined to use everyday.

Benazagel After Care Moisturizer

Nice product- only downside is that it contains AHA and I was not able to use it when using my gel and wash as they both already contained and active ingredient. Not super hydrating as I would have loved

After Care Moisturizing Lotion

I use this every morning to keep my face hydrated (only while my acne is still in the process of healing) and it also doesn't leave a greasy or sticky feeling.

Nice and Light

Benzagel After Care Moisturizing Lotion has a thin fluid like texture, that obsorbs really quickly. I really like that this formula didn't dry out my skin or make it feel greasy in any way. It gave my skin the perfect amount of moisture, and definitely helped reduce my acne along with the wash and gel. I was also able to apply my makeup flawlessly after using this product.

A subtle yet effective moisturizer

This moisturizer is nice to use at first but afterwards I realized that my skin would get incredibly dry and I would have to use a more hydrating moisturizer after.

Light weight texture

This has a very lovely light weight texture that sinks into the skin almost immediately after application. Enriched with a unique combination of alpha-hydroxy acids, squalane, botanical extracts, minerals and antioxidants, that is intended to gentlly exfoliate, nourish and moisturize the skin. Personally as one with a combo skin type, I found it moderately moisturizing so adding a hydrating serum in my routine helped with added hydration.
