Dang It, Missed the Mark!

I'm so upset, because I wanted to love this ice cream!
There is NOTHING wrong with a Breyers ice cream. They are so creamy, you can absolutely taste the quality. HOWEVER. I am a huge fan of butter tarts. I love them, so very much. And this ice cream cannot hold a candle to the buttery goodness of such a tart. I almost would have preferred if they attempted a pecan tart, because then at least there would be more substance. To me, this just tastes like caramel with some crunchy bits. Nope. Not my favourite!

Creamy and decadent

I was excited to try the Breyers Butter Tart ice cream as I loooove butter tarts! I was grateful to receive this product free from Family Rated. I really liked the large amount of caramel sauce in the ice cream and the crunchy bits of tart shell are delicious. I thought this product might have raisins and was a bit nervous for that but there are no raisins in the Butter Tart ice cream. I would definitely buy this again and am excited to try the other Breyers Canadian flavours.

The dessert I didn't know i needed as a ice cream

I loved it! It was so creamy! 10/10 I could not ask for a better ice cream. it is perfect to add to a milkshake or to top on your favourite dessert!!!

Butter tart flavour ice cream!!!

I received this product free for product review. Butter tart ice cream! I was so happy to see this flavour and try it out. The ice cream is very sweet but that's expected as it is butter tart flavour. If you don't like super sweet I would not recommend this. Because it is super sweet, I actually ate less. The little bits of butter tarts was very pleasant on the palate. I recommend this product to people with a super sweet tooth.

Delicious Treat

I got a coupon to try this for free and what a delicious treat. It’s a little sweet for me, not my usual go-to for ice cream but the pastry bits were a nice surprise. I enjoyed this in small doses with a little whipped cream… felt a lot like eating pie. A nice change up from my usual desserts. I received a coupon/sample from Butterfly. I will definitely be buying the butter tart flavoured ice cream from breyers. It tasted great and didn’t last long. Definitely recommended!

Delicious combination of ice cream and tart

This sweet tart perfectly combines the filling of butter, sugar, syrup, and egg, baked in a pastry shell. Made with vanilla light ice cream with a caramel swirl and pastry pieces for a delicious butter tart taste. Yummy treat

La crème glacé tarte au beurre m'a agréablement surprise. La saveur est gourmande sans être trop sucrée. Les morceaux de tarte ainsi que le filet de saveur sont délicieux. Vous y deviendrez rapidement accro.

Butter Tart is fantastic!!

I must say I was a little skeptical to try the butter tart flavour, as I was unsure of what it would translate to into an ice cream. However, I was very impressed with its flavor. It was sweet and you can actually taste the caramel swirl. I truly enjoyed having the pastry pieces within the ice cream, its a nice added touch. The vanilla base of the ice cream is fantastic, as it was smooth and creamy. I would definitely purchase this flavour again! A dessert and ice cream ALL IN ONE

The chunks of butter tart in this ice cream is so so good! There is a good amount of butter tart chunks and caramel (very generous amounts) so each spoonful is amazing. This was enjoyed by the entire family and satisfied my sweet craving. Highly recommend.
