Less-guilt, more pleasure!

Who doesn't love ice cream and the fact that I #gotitfree to try with ChickAdvisor?! And now the new trend of lower-calorie... less-guilt indulgence of ice cream? Sign me up! This product was relatively hard to find as it is new on the market and priced at a premium compared to other ice creams. The closest super markets to me are discount grocers so sometimes it can be hard to find the new and trendy products. Luckily I was able to find this little tub of ice cream at Shoppers Drug Mart (where it retails for $8!!).

I tried the Cookies and Cream flavour and it wasn't bad.. obviously not as creamy as regular ice cream but it is definitely a nice treat without the guilt of consuming all that sugar and calories!

I do also love the smaller tub size as it makes it easier to control how much I eat. May repurchase in the future if I see it on sale but definitely not for $8!

Great taste without the guilt

I received thia product for free for review purposes. I received the cookies and creams variety and let me tell you, it tastes great! I feel like i could eat a tub through a movie and still not fell super fat after. Definitely a great treat without the guilt!

Can't believe it's only 360 calories per CARTON!

I got to try this product free from Chick Advisor and was selected to try the cookies and cream flavour. I like ice cream and cookies & cream would be a flavour I would normally reach for (among others!) so I was very excited to try this! It was easy to find in stores, which was nice, and I found the price to be reasonable. You can get a bigger carton of ice cream on sale for the same or less money, however if you are strictly comparing the small carton sizes, this is much less money than many other brands sold in stores.

On to the important information: how did it TASTE?!? I was really pleased with the flavour of this product. It definitely did NOT taste like a diet, or 'light' ice cream. But lets start from the beginning. When I first opened the carton it looked exactly like other cookies & cream ice cream I have had in the past. It did not scoop out very easily - I had to heat up the scoop and even then it was difficult to scoop. This is not a big issue for me though because - a) this is fairly typical for most grocery store bought ice creams, and b) this could be a result of several things (mainly, temperature of the freezer). This also didn't really effect the taste of the ice cream, it's just something I noticed immediately.

When I first put a spoonful in my mouth I have to admit I was struck with an overwhelming taste of artificial vanilla. It was not 'bad' or 'offensive' necessarily, it was just very noticeable. After taking another spoonful I realized that it actually tasted like the cream frosting (filling?) that is in the middle of an Oreo, which made the flavour less alarming (this WAS supposed to be cookies & CREAM after all!). I am happy to say that after another spoonful or so, this overwhelming taste was far less noticeable.

The texture of this ice cream was really nice. It was not overly gritty or sandy, which you can find in even some of the better ice creams. I was preparing myself for that seeing as I was tasting a flavour that HAS cookie crumbs all throughout it, but it was actually quite smooth and creamy.

Overall I have to say that this ice cream rivaled any other store bought ice cream I have had in terms of taste, texture and price. It was delicious and worth the money for sure. The biggest thing for me is that you can eat the ENTIRE CARTON for about the same calories as one bowl of regular ice cream. This alone is a reason why I will be purchasing this product again. I am excited to try the other 2 flavours available (vanilla & chocolate), and I hope they expand and add even more flavours!

Tastes like oreo sandwich icecream

So i got it the same day i received my package.
It tastes very smooth , creamy and the bits of cookies taste like broken up sandwich icecream bits. This taste i loved. As compared to other regular cookies and cream icecream. It tastes amazing with plain icecream cones. Id buy it again. It has a refreshing different taste. My only recommendation would be and this would make the icecream oh so amazing..would be to add cookie dough bits. As this will truly differentiate it from others. A baskin robbins flavour but with the breyers touch.

Very yummy product

Found this very creamy and a nice treat. Gave it to my whole family and everyone enjoyed it and would never know it was lower in calories. Looking forward to trying out different flavours, a little pricey unless you get it on sale.

It was so great to finally get my tub of ice cream home and share it with my family !I just want to say thank you for such good ice cream and my family can't wait for the next one lol

Bonne creme glacée avec plusieurs saveurs qui sont très .bonnes. J'aimerais goûter touted les saveurs . Il y a aussi les sandwichs à crême glacée qui sont delicieux

The family loved it!!! They keep asking for more. Would like a bigger size like a family size . It as a great taste better than other well know kind. Enjoy!!

I love breyers so much and this flavour is my all time favourite. I highly recommend this flavour but I can’t wait to try the others! Definitely worth the money
