Low calorie, great tasting ice cream!

Thank you Chick Advisor for allowing me to sample this Breyers delight ice cream for free. I could have easily ate the whole container in one sitting but decided to eat half and used half to make a milk shake. It is very flavourful, not too sweet! I tried the vanilla bean flavour and I would definitely purchase it again. It's made with skim milk but taste as rich as a whole cream ice cream so it is an excellent product for those who are health conscious or watching their weight. This ice cream is satisfying to the taste buds. I recommend you try it!

Breyers ice cream, I actually adore, so I was super excited when I got the chance to review it. It also came very timely as I was having super immense cravings for ice cream this week, haha. I got the Breyers coupon to try their Delights line in the Vanilla Bean flavour for free, from Chick Advisor. Was simply available at my local Shopper's Drug Mart. The flavour is very light, which I love and refreshing in a way where it just perks you right up. I can see myself reaching for this when the weather is a bit more stable and not so cold. I'm very tempted to buy this line in other flavours, because I enjoyed the Vanilla Bean flavour a lot.

CREAMY VANILLA LIGHTNESS

I received this product - Breyers Delights - for free to try. I found the Vanilla Bean flavour at the local Wal-Mart. It is a nice amount to share or to eat fully without worrying about high calories or anything of the sort. The flavour is lighter than other Breyers varieties but it was creamy and the notes of vanilla were very distinctive leading to a smooth floral dessert. I loved that it was just right in flavour, calories and presentation.

This is some really tasty ice cream.

I admit, I was pretty skeptical, especially when I saw the price tag ($8.99 regular price at my local Sobeys). However, since I had been chosen by the ChickAdvisor product review club to evaluate this product, I happily brought it home with me!

The nutrition facts are off the charts for a pint of ice cream. 280 calories/16 grams of protein in the entire 500ml pack or 70 calories/4 grams of protein in the 125ml suggested serving size. That's about half the calories of traditional ice cream.

As far as taste goes, you would think that something so low in calories would be awful as far as taste profile goes, right? Wrong. This ice cream is smooth and creamy and totally hits the spot.

If you're in the mood for an ice cream splurge, I would definitely recommend this one.

Light, Summertime Dessert

Thank you Chick Advisor for the opportunity to try Breyers Delights in Vanilla Bean. The product has a nice smooth texture, similar to ice cream. It is not very rich or heavy. It has a nice, subtle flavour that I think would go well with berries. I would recommend this product to anyone who is very conscious of what they eat as Breyers Delights is a nice option for a light treat. It is not overly sweet. I think it would make a great post-BBQ, summer-time dessert!

Loved this ice cream!

I was excited to try this ice cream since it had 16 grams of protein. I work out 5 days a week and it’s a nice little cheat to have on a Friday night. I like vanilla so the vanilla bean was an obvious choice. It has a nice vanilla flavour that isn’t overpowering and doesn’t have an odd aftertaste. It was a little expensive so it’s best to buy it on sale for better value. Would definitely get it again.

Guilt free indulgence!

I initially went to get the cookies and cream flavour, but it was sold out so I went with the Vanilla bean. I wasn’t disappointed. It is a great guilt free alternative to ice cream. It tastes very good and creamy. I will say, however, that both myself and my husband found this flavour overly sweet. I don’t know about the other flavours. But it might be due to the stevia and other sweeteners. I would definitely recommend trying this! And don’t feel bad if you eat the whole thing! I love this delightful ice cream and the best part is I got a free sample! It’s my new go to for ice cream and I don’t have to worry about calories as it’s 280 calories for t all! Woohoo

Ice Cream I don't feel guilty eating!

I was SO impressed with Breyers Delights Vanilla Bean ice cream! Considering it has 280 calories for the entire container, I expected it to taste bland and not very sweet but I was wrong. It tasted just like the regular ice cream I eat! I did share with my 7 year old son and he gave it 2 thumbs up as well. The protien content (16 g per 'pack') was an added bonus. Ice cream counts as protein right?! I'll definitely be purchasing this and enjoying it when the warm weather gets here!

Enjoyable low calorie dessert

Finally a dessert I can finish all by myself without minding calories. The creamy texture was same as regular ice creams. There was a slight aftertaste because of the artificial sweetener but yay it’s low calorie and tastes less sugary and added bonus of 16 g of protein and fibres. Good product worth trying. Will buy other favours next time!!
