Suprised!

I love ice cream (major foodie- we always have ice cream in the house!). I was a little nervous to try this ice cream because I've never had a non-dairy ice cream before. Turns out, it is great!

Too Sweet

I am lactose intolerant so I was very excited to taste this product. I have tried many different brands of dairy free ice cream so I can compare to find my favourite. There were many cookie pieces and the value is great for the large tub. However, the ice cream was overly sweet for my liking. I prefer the ben and jerrys & haagendazs dairy free ice creams. I received this as a free product for review purposes.

Loads of Cookie Pieces!

My partner is lactose intolerant so when given the opportunity to taste this out we were both excited to! This has more of a frozen yogurt texture which I really enjoyed. It was full of cookie pieces and tasted pretty good. I just thought it was a tad on the sweeter side, but hey it is ice cream so I didn't mind it. I think this is really tasty and a great alternative if you need dairy free food. I received this product to test through chickadvisor. All opinions are my own.

Three thumbs up for Breyers Non-Dairy Cookies & Creme

I received a free coupon for try Breyer's Non-Dairy Cookies & Creme and although it took some doing to find it, it was worth it. I wasn't sure what to expect but I really enjoyed this product. It was sweet without being too sweet and the cookies and creme taste was quite distinct. It also had a nice texture - very similar to that of regular ice cream.

Everyone in my house tried the product (including one vegan) and everyone enjoyed it. The only thing that would hold me back from buying this as a regular replacement for ice cream would be the price. It was a dollar or two more expensive than regular ice cream. Not crazily expensive, but still more than I'm used to.

A tasty non-dairy alternative for ice cream

As someone who can't eat dairy, I find it challenging to find alternatives that taste good. This cookies and cream ice cream is so tasty. The almonds give it a bit of creaminess, so I don't miss the dairy too much. The flavour is pretty good - tastes of ice cream sandwiches/cookies. It is a bit chalky/dry, but I expect that with almond milk products. I have been using it in my coffee and it's pretty tasty in that too.

Best Almond Milk ice cream

I am lactose intolerant and so I'm pretty well versed in products that are dairy free. I was super please to receive this free to try. I have to say that Almond milk is not my favourite to make treats with or anything really. Almond milk is always watery and it never quite gets the consistency of milk. Thsat being said. This is the best almond milk product i've tried.

I really like that the cookies and cream isn't over powering the fact it's ice cream. I find a lot of non dairy ice creams hide behind what they put in it. This is still ice cream.

The consistency of this isn't quite creamy enough and i know that's due to being almond milk. Over all though the flavour is great. it's a great alternative and I definetly prefer it to the ben and jerry's non dairy. I would say that Coconut bliss is still my favoiurite non dairy ice cream but this would be a close second.

The really great thing about this ice cream is the price. Breyers is without a doubt reasonably priced. When I got it at save on it was about 4 dollars for 1.6L but it was normally prices at 7 dollars (still not bad).

Finally it should be noted this does contain wheat and soy. I feel like if they wanted to make this more allergen friendly they should get rid of those.

Overall I would buy it again. I am definitely going to try the other flavour.

A surprisingly tasty dessert!

I think if you are looking for something that tastes exactly like ice cream, this is probably not for you. But if you're looking for something a bit lighter, such as a gelato-like dessert, this may do the trick! Instead of being "creamy," this non-dairy ice cream tastes more water-based. It's not as thick as ice cream.

They don't skimp on the cookie chunks either, and they taste delicious (similar to an Oreo). That said, I didn't find this overly sweet at all. It was just the right amount of sweet for me, personally.

Compared to the dairy version, this dessert has slightly more calories and fat but the same amount of sugar.

At 7.99, I feel the price is a little high compared to other ice creams. I would buy it again if it was on sale though.

A fantastic dairy free option!

We really loved this ice cream! The taste is fantastic, the texture is exactly what you would want in an ice cream, and there a just the right amount of chunks (cookies). The whole family was a fan, which doesn't often happen when it comes to any food, let alone dairy free! I like that this ice cream is not too sweet and tastes amazing!
The price is great as well! Compared to other dairy free options, this is a great value!
We will be buying this again!!

I really like ice cream in the summertime but being lactose intolerant, I feel like my choices are limited and not very tasty. I really like this Breyers non-dairy ice cream and the cookies and crème flavour is my favourite! I love that it’s not too sweet and the cookies are soft and add a bit of texture and sweet and salty flavour. I feel the price for a 1.6 litre tub at $7.99 is a bit much compared to others. I would recommend this for dairy-free and vegans.

Love this product would totally buy this again

It was truly refreshing. I love ice cream and this was by far very enjoyable. I would definitely recommend it. If I didn't know better I would not have known it was dairy free.
