I recently got a sample tube of this from Sephora and can see myself using it up quickly (and then hopefully getting a full sized one!) The shade I got is Mudslide, (which is described as "rose brown" on the Buxom site and "petal pink" on Sephora). This is a perfect nude shade for me and will be great to wear with my dramatic or smoky eye shadows.
It has that vanilla-candy type of scent, and a strong minty tingle that's supposed to help plump up your lips. I love all of that- I feel like it does make my lips seem a BIT more pronounced, and find that the tingle is strong but not too intense, and also lasts way longer than other lip products that claim to plump your lips like this.
This has "hyaluronic spheres" to hydrate, as well as vitamin A and E. As a kind of lip gloss, it doesn't last for a really long time when it's on, but it does last through light snacks and sipping drinks, and doesn't start to feel sticky or heavy at all. I really love the shade I have, and it wears better than a lot of lip products out there, especially for (cream) gloss, so to me it would be worth purchasing a full size after finishing up my sample!

LOVE this lip gloss! Not too sticky, but not slimy so it stays on and feels great. Some cooling action that makes walking outside on a snowy day a bit shocking, but not enough to wipe it off. The colour and glitter are subtle but definitely noticeable. I feel quite lovely wearing this lip gloss!

Before this, my favourite lipgloss was the Buxom Lip Polish, so it's no surprise that I love this product. I'm not a huge fan of glitter, and this is basically the exact same thing with more shine and no sparkles -- perfect! I have EXTREMELY dry lips, and this is the only gloss that lasts any more than 15 minutes. I usually like to layer it on top of a lip balm, since my lips are generally flaky/chapped without. The gloss goes on super smoothly, has a nice cooling tingle, and your lips look super full and shiny. Layering it on lipstick looks great too!

I am a huge makeup fanatic and am known to spend hundreds at Sephora, so in my opinion I think it's quite affordable for the quality. Splurge, it's worth it!! better yet, get value sets when they're available :)

I first saw this set on tv in QVC and I wanted them so bad after I saw them on the models. The colors looked so pretty and neutral, not too much. Right away I was begging my husband to get them for me but I didn't get them right away. They were around $26-28 dollars and I hate paying more cause of s&h;. I went in to Sephora store here in San Diego and they didn't had the Winter Escapade set. I'm so glad I didn't get them right away, like two weeks ago I got an email from Sephora's online special offers they send out and they had the set on special for $19 bucks! I called the Sephora inside JCPenny in Fashion Valley here in SD to see if they had them to not buy online and not drive all the way over there for nothing and they had them. I was soo happy, so I got them now and I got them at a much better price! All worth it!

My husband never really tells me if he likes something, like a lip color, etc...& he likes these, he likes how they tingle cause after I kiss him he gets it too...& how it feels fresh and minty for a while. I gotta say that my favorite ones are Joy & Holly.

This particular Buxom Babes lipgloss came in a set of 4....a collector's set called "Winter Escapade". I originally bought it to be divided up for stocking stuffer's. I ended up keeping one of the colours for myself because I loved it so much. I put it on and was amazed at how long this lip gloss lasted!

I have never used a lip gloss with such staying power before. This stuff lasts and lasts, even while drinking from a water bottle I was amazed at how long this formula stayed on. I am not sure if all the BE lip gloss's stay on like this, or if they have the really minty bite to them like this one does. But the staying power of this particular one is enough to make me want to try other lip gloss's from BE.

This set of 4 is gorgeous by the way! Very nicely packaged, it would make a super gift for anyone that loves a high quality lip gloss. The colour choices in this ensamble are fun....full of sparkle for the winter, and can be worn alone or over top of your fave lipsticks to add some glittery shine. All named after the winter festive season...."Merry", "Hope", "Holly" and "Joy"......reds, neutrals, pinks and clear...all with high potency shine and glitter!

I am not usually a fan of glitter or sparkle.....yet somehow this set works for me, even tho I am just keeping the one. They aren't cheap or cheesey.....and they feel amazing on the lips. There is that strong minty bite, and most importantly........ the formula lasts!
