got this for my husband to use as a daily sunscreen. Nice and light and fragrance free
I like that this moisturizer doesn't cause my skin to break out and a daily spf is always great. This moisturizer is average in terms of releaf dryness especially in the cool dry winter months. I would suggest this as a summer moisturizer.
I using it just after cleaning my skin with the cetaphil daily facial cleaner, and for my daily use, it's a good cream for sensitive and normal skin.
So i have always tried to stay away from facial moisturizers as they tend to make my skin feel oily and uncomfortable. However, this summer I was having some dryness around my nose and mouth and my roommate suggested i try Cetaphil. I was skeptical as i had tried many and all had the same result; oily, greasy and uncomfortable. But she was insistent so I tried it. Needless to say I was blown away! It absorbed quickly into my skin, leaving the skin around my nose and mouth smooth and relieved of dryness. There was no oily layer, it did not make me shiny or uncomfortable at all. I have since been using it every day and am amazed at how much better my skin has been. I may be a lifer!
This is one of my favorite moisturizers. I feel like it leaves my face very moisturized without making it greasy. I love the fact that it has SPF. It is priced very reasonable and it seems to go a long way.
I have sensitive skin and most SPF mosturizers make my skin red and I get breakouts. I have found that this one is gentle enough for me and doesn't make me breakout. It may need a little more mosturizing, but I think for the price is a great product for everyday!
This moisturizer makes my skin oily especially around my T-zone. It does moisturize pretty well and it contains SPF 15 so I use this moisturizer first and then put powder on my face for a light coverage and to reduce the look of oily skin. Cetaphil is a really good brand for sensitive skin but I do wish this moisturizer isn't as heavy.
I used it all the time in the morning after a facewash. It has spf 15 which help block some of the radiation from the sun. It help my skin look moist and soft and it wont clot pores. I have used it for 3 years and its my favourite day time moisturizer.
For a long time Olay Complete Lotion has been my go-to facial moisturizer. I have loved it for years and never looked back. However in the transition between seasons (here in Canada) my skin becomes temperamental: its rough and super dry in some patches while oily and breakout prone in others. I decided to go back to basics and use the Cetaphil Moisturizing Lotion that my mom has recommended for years. This lotion is amazing and turned my skin right aroundm; but it is SUPER heavy so I could only use it at night. I went looking for a product that would deliver the same glowing skin results but that I could use everyday.
That is when I found this lotion, Cetaphil Daily Facial Moisturizer SPF 15 (I will NOT consider anything without sunscreen in it!) I have been using this product for several months now and I can safely say that my skin has never looked better. I feel a little guilty for cheating on my Olay like this, but for some reason I feel that Cetaphil is the better choice (after all, it is mom AND dermatologist recommended!)
According to Cetaphils website, "This skin moisturizer is lightweight, fragrance-free and suitable for use under makeup or after shaving". I agree 100%. It is super mild, does not present any problems with applying make-up over top, and it doesn't irritate my skin in the slightest.
My one tiny complaint is that if you get it in your eyes it stings (likely due to the sunscreen) which my Olay never did. However this is more a result of me being a dummy than anything else, so you really can't hold it against the lotion.
Overall it is an excellent product and I am definitely going to repurchase it when the bottle runs out (which is taking a long time I might add. I have been using it everyday for at least 3 months and its not even half empty yet). It is a little bit more expensive than say Olay but you can always find sales, and look on the Cetaphil website or save.ca for coupons (which is what I did).
