Good cleanser, but there are better ones out there

I bought this hoping to smooth out my rough skin texture, but it did not work. I read some great reviews for this cleanser, but i found it made my face more oily after an hour. I later found out the pH of this cleanser is too alkaline for my skin.

Facial cleanser

While I haven't heard a bad word about this product, I'm not totally sold on switching to it as my every day cleanser. Something about it smells a little off and I dont feel it deep cleans as well as some of the other facial cleansers I have tried. Would recommend but maybe only in the sample size to start.

Didn't see much results

Although I really like the brand, I'm not overly excited of this product. It doesn't feel like it's deeply washing my face. I use it only in the morning cause I don't find it effective for evening washes.
I'll try the regular version to see if this is too gentle for me.

interesting but not for me

I can not take anything away from the fact that this cleaser is super soft and light, but I do not think it was for me simply because it doesn't work! First of all, it feels kinda greasy, second, it's pricey and third, it isn't effective at all. I always have to wash my face twice to feel like it's half washed. I understand that it is for sensitive skin (which I have) and it's gentle, but come on! How gentle can this thing get?!

Sorry if this review was more negative than positive because strangely, I don't hate this product. I do recommend it because you never know if you'll like it, though.

Not very effective

I did not like the Cetaphil Gentle SKIN cleaner. It does not lather and is not very soapy. I did not feel clean after and ended up rewashing with other stuff. For me it was not worth the cost.

Whiteheads? Still there.

I checked many reviews and they all checked out so I bought it. Was it worth it? No. I have mild acne, whiteheads on my t zone and some pimple bumps. I used cetaphil for the first gtime and it seemed great, I was stuck on this idea that I've found a great cleanser. Roughly a month I've been using the prouduct and no improvements were seen.

I wouldn't buy this again

When I started using this product I found it dries out my skin. It was not gentle as it said and I believe it had harsh chemicals that my skin did not agree with. If you have sensitive skin I would recommend looking elsewhere.

Acne

This product was okay but I would not say it is the best in my opinion. I definitely would not buy it again because it barely cleaned my acne and sometimes it became worse using this product.

Good price, BAD ingredients!!

So many derms recommend this for acne and acne prone skin BUT it is full of ingredients that are pore clogging!! SLS is a 3/5 on the comedogenic scale, there is no way they can call this non comedogenic. I used this and it broke me out, never again!! Always research the ingredients.

oldie but goodie

Very gentle on skin. Works for sensitive skin. Skin feels comfortable after washing. there is no dryness or tightness after washing. Be aware, there is no foaming action. I am unsure about how effectively it cleans though as i do not wear a lot of heavy makeup.
