I first starting wearing Chanel No. 5 about twenty years ago. Back then I was in my mid 20's and found it to be a scent for a more mature woman, but I still liked it. Although I always kept a bottle, I only occasionally wore it. Now that I am in my mid 40's I have found the scent more appealing and have found myself reaching for the bottle to wear it more and more often. I liked it in my 20's, but love it now.

This perfume is synonymous with sophistication. It's a classic scent that is alluring and timeless. A few drops of this scent lingers around you like a halo of beauty. A scent that any woman can wear and all women treasure.

This is like a once or twice a year scent for me. Mostly because it is my favourite, it is my most special fragrance, and I like to use it on special occasions. A part of me feels really grown-up with this scent, and just very confident and classic. It is a must for me.

This is just a classic chanel perfume, I love the smell and how long it lasts. Very classic, I think anyone can rock it!

This perfume is a classic and one that I have used for many years. It is such a soft femine scent. The vanilla fragrance is so subtle. Not too heavy. I can wear this perfume on a daily basis and it smells so fresh. Just the right amount of vanilla fragrance.

It's a must have and I have worn it forever.
Strange however friends that do not know I wear it tell me they love my scent and ask what I am wearing, and when I say Channel No. 5 some immediately dismiss it, and my friends that know I wear it say they are not fans of it, however they all are always in my bathroom before we go out dabbing a bit on.
I love the scent on me, it lingers lightly, but in a subtle way that catches a mans attention yet does not overwhelm him, but the memory stays with him.
It is sensual without being trashy or cheap, not overly sweet, but not spicy or hard either if you understand what I am trying to get across. Can be worn by a women of any age and occupation equally and it suits every occasion depending on how it is applied, lightly or liberally.
A must on every fragrance shelf.

A classic scent. As I'm getting older, I'm appreciating it more and more. It's a nice little splurge one in a while when you want to feel elegant.

This is the most womanly, classic and legendary perfume ever invented. It smells luscious and beautiful like roses and jasmine cream with a little warm and sweet vanilla. A little bit goes a long way!

I know people just love this scent but I personally can't stand it. I've even tried it on seeing if it mixes well with my body but I think it just got worse!

I have a few friends who love and wear it, but I find their husbands, and most other men, don't find this a favorite however.
