Tasty and Creamy

The #freebox of Maple Crunch Ice Cream I dug into was an unexpected treat. It was creamy with a strong but not overwhelming maple flavour. The ice cream did not melt quickly and had a little bit of crunch. It was definitely a little sweet for my palate, but likely fine for most sweet toothed people.

Maple Crunch Ice Cream needs more maple, please

Pros: l like the sliceable, 2 litre, block style ice cream, and the way the maple leave design is embedded. And that it’s peanut/nut free, gluten free and made with natural flavours/colours, so l wouldn’t worry about serving it to people with those allergies or concerns.

Cons: The ice cream wasn’t as creamy as expected. The bits weren’t crunchy. And the maple flavour is so mild that it’s barely detectable. Too much maple would be sickly, but this could really use more. So, kick up the maple, Chapman’s, please. Just be sure to still use real maple, not artificial flavour.

Conclusion: This would be a nice accompaniment to something like apple pie or spice cake. On its own it’s a bit dull. But has lots of potential. If Chapman improved the creaminess and boosted the level of maple, I’d love it.

Maple, but where's the crunch?

The flavour that was assigned to me was Maple Crunch Ice Cream. There was great maple flavour, but where is the crunch? There was no crunch at all! If I see crunch in the name, I expect to have some texture in my ice cream. Overall, it was a nice, smooth, creamy ice cream. My kids liked that there was a maple leaf in the middle of the box of ice cream. If you're looking for a good maple ice cream, this is it... just don't expect any crunch!

A Canadian classic! It was so delicious and sweet! We will definitely be repurchasing this ice cream in the future. It was creamy and the bits added were also delicious!

Yummm flavor

Its really very yummy ice cream, my daughter loves the flavor, since she tried it she is asking to buy more n more of this flavor.. the maple leaf 🍁 on ice cream attracts her the most.

Vanilla flavour with maple

This flavor was not so easy to find in the supermarkets, I only found it on my third visit to different supermarkets. It's a nice vanilla ice cream with maple on the center but the vanilla taste is not so strong and then for me, this one goes better as a side for another dessert, for example, brownie or petit gateau. I would not buy it again as the main dessert. Also, the packaging and the way of serving (with slices) are not very convenient if you are not eating the whole package at once. On the other hand, this makes a good impression on a party with a group of people because the design with the maple leaf in the center is nice.

Good maple taste but no crunch

I was lucky enough to get a coupon to try this Chapman's Original Canadian Maple Crunch Ice cream for free! The ice cream is not too sweet and the maple taste is there, however there is no crunch at all as advertised. I see the maple dots in the ice cream but the crunchiness is not really there, which is too bad because it would add texture to the ice cream. Overall good maple ice cream.

Good product

My family and I, we loved this ice cream. We finished in 2 days. We will buy again for sure. I would like to try the others flavours too. I recommend it.

Simplement succulente

La crème glacée à l’érable était tout simplement succulente. Le goût d’érable était bien présent. La crème glacée est parsemée de petits croquants. Les enfants ont tous adoré!

We liked it! Maple flavour was not as strong as we expected and there was no crunch! The ice cream overall is good! Nice, smooth and creamy! Love the fact it a Canadian company!
