I like this product. It doesn't have a harsh smell. Doesn't drip everywhere. The only issue I have is grey coverage. A week after I color my roots the grey is back. I've tried leaving it on for up to 45 min and always the same result.

I know people who have used this and it worked fine but the one time I used it to dye my hair blonde it dyed it a light purplish shade so needless to save I've never used it again which is unfortunate because it's always on sale for a great price but it makes you wonder why..

I have never dyed my hair at home. I stopped dying my hair 12 yrs ago and foolishly got bored with my same old brown locks and wanted something drastic and darker. I used the dark colour with some violet / auburn in it. The application was easy. I had to wait longer then I would of liked (25 mins.... If I do this again I'm going for the 10 min application ) my ends feel brittle and are much darker then my roots. I'm sad that I did dye my hair bc I don't know how long it will take to fade out and if I will have to re- dye once it fades too much or grows out. All in all the dye did work and for the price it's great but it did not make my hair soft Now I will have to wait another 5 yrs till I have my natural brown hair and soft locks back.

As soon as you see those nasty roots showing up you can use this to cover them up and be done in just ten minutes. You can even use Nice & Easy root touch-up on salon coloured hair. It’s a permanent dye that blends in beautifully with any shade you may have dyed your hair. They have several shades to choose from so you shouldn’t have trouble finding one to match your hair. They say it will last you up to three weeks extending the life of your dye job and giving you 100% gray coverage. I imagine this will all depend on just how fast your hair grows, it may last longer for some and a shorter amount of time for others. This root touch-up system comes with a little tray to blend the color mixture together in, a brush that you have to dip into the color mixture and then apply it to your roots and of course gloves to protect your hands. I found the smell of the dye mixture to be really strong and didn’t like this at all. The tray that you mix the dye in is also kind of small and very unstable. So you really have to be careful not to tip it over each time you dip the brush into it. At first I thought the brush would make it easier to apply the dye, but I found this wasn’t the case for me at all. I like the L’Oreal root touch up system 100% better then this one for those reasons. Other wise the Nice & Easy Root Touch-up system does work, but I won’t be buying it again because I found it to be more of a hassle and not worth it when there’s better products on the market that do just as good a job, but that are a lot easier to use.

Cheap and convenient, but not only did it dye my hair it dyed my scalp as well. I would rather spend more and not have it look as if I'm wearing a wig...

This product didn't really work for me. My hair is naturally really dark brown so whenever I dye my hair it is usually to lighten it. My roots grew out so I tried to use this to dye my hair lighter. Well, it didn't turn out any lighter and in fact didn't change my color AT ALL. It's probably because this is to dye your hair darker. I also got this on sale (like a two for one deal) so maybe this product has been sitting on the shelf for too long so it lost its effectiveness? I'm not sure but it did not work for me.

I've never ever coloured my hair by myself, so the hype about it being easy and fast attracted me. My mother actually purchased it for me and before going back to college I thought I'd try it.

I had the very lightest blonde colour and my hair is a dark blonde-verging on light brown, I guess. The box for the regular colour that can come in a two-in-one package (one box to dye the whole shebang, one for touching up your roots later) pretty much indicated that my hair would come out quite blonde, and if it was even a close match but not exact I would be happy.

It WAS easy to do, but even leaving it in for longer - because I could SEE that it wasn't half as light as it should be - didn't do it. My roots are now as root-ey as ever, though slightly lighter and people comment that it's "At least closer to the blonde; it's not as harsh a difference between the two now."

Yeah, okay, but that's not what I paid for. When I went out shopping again I looked for a lighter blonde... And there isn't one. I'm s--- out of luck, as they say. I may try doing it AGAIN, on TOP of the lightened roots, but there HAS to be a better solution.

The application brush was pretty handy though; wish I'd kept it so I could use some other product and get right in to the roots. Mostly, though, after doing my hairline by my forehead and around my head, I just massaged the stuff in with my gloved hands... So moving away from this product wouldn't be terrible at all. Just wish I could get the results from it.
