Just Okay

received a 7 day @clarinsofficial Double Serum sample to try from @thisisbutterly in exchange for my honest review.

I will say, I love the floral scent of this serum - but it is awfully strong. If you’re not someone who likes scented products then my advice would be to skip this one. Although it is a lovely scent, it’s a strong one.

The samples require you to bend the package in half to release the samples and then mix both sides together. This was easy to do and I really do enjoy the serum.

Not too thick or runny, just perfect. I’ve not seen a HUGE difference, especially for the price tag that the actual bottle comes with, but it is a nice product that did leave my skin feeling great.

I wouldn’t say this was a must have for me personally but I also didn’t dislike it.

7 days is not long enough to notice a difference

7 days is not long enough to notice a difference with any skin care product and it's unrealistic to believe you can get instant results like that. That being said, this is not a bad serum by any means, but it would have been nice to be able to really try it out for a few weeks and see if there was a noticeable change in my skin's firmness and smoothness.

Too pricey for the effectiveness of it

I liked the formula. Didn’t love how the samples were packaged. It smelled really nice but more oily than anything else.
I wouldn’t recommend spending this much on a product that you can get for much cheaper with other products.

Just OK

I tried this sample every night for 1 week. Maybe I need to use it longer, but I really didn't notice a difference. I didn't like the gel consistency of the product. It made my skin feel tight and sticky. I wasn't a fan and will stick to my current night cream.

Wasn’t for me

I really wanted to love the simplicity of this double serum and high hopes but I unfortunately just didn’t notice the difference after a week with this product. Was hoping for something more from it. #freeproduct

I started using the duo pack, I noticed some break down of my wrinkles along my brow but my chin broke out along with my face turning red. I believe this is a me problem not the product. I recommend try it first in a small unseen spot prior to applying to your whole face.

I haven't noticed a difference

I tried the sample provided by Butterly and the product is nice, and I didn't mind the smell. I mixed the two products together and used it nightly but honestly haven't noticed anything. My skin is oily and acne prone, and so I am not sure if it contributed to a recent flare up. I really wanted to love it, as many other Clarins products are so good#DoubleSerum #ClarinsSkinCare

Smooth skin in a week!

I received a seven day trial of Double Serum to try out in exchange for my honest review. Clarins Double Serum dispenses from a dual-chamber and has a very pleasant smell that's not too overpowering. The serum soaked into my skin nicely and didn't leave behind any sticky feeling. After seven days, I can confirm that my skin feels a lot smoother and it evened out my skin texture a bit. However, I did not find my skin to be any more firmer or radiant. Maybe if I use it for a longer period, I would notice those changes. It’s alright

I enjoyed using this serum but I didn’t necessarily see any changes to my skin over the course of 7 days. Don’t get me wrong, it made my skin hydrated and feeling nice in the morning, I’m just not sure about the anti-aging benefits it claims to do. I would be curious to see how this worked over a longer period of time. There is a slight scent to the product but it’s not overbearing - it might irritate those who are sensitive to smells though. The price point is kind of high - I feel like you could find a similar product for much less.

I just finished this 7 day treatment by Clarins.

I really liked how glowy my skin stayed after application. I also liked how easy to apply the formula, it's rich and quality and melts into your skin. I really love how nourish and healthy my skin looked and feeled.

I rated 3 stars as I had a couple breakouts while using the product. My skin is dry so normally I don't struggle with heavy moisture but my skin did react to this solution for some reason. I think it's likely just not a fit for my skin despite being a great product overall.
