Good for mild allergies

This is good to have during allergy season and it works over 24 hours to keep reactions to pollen, dust, etc at bay all day. It's a slow-release allergy relief you need only one a day.

If your allergies or hayfever affect you beyond just the sneeze, however, you may wish to try out something that is formulated to work quicker like Benadryl.

As with a lot of allergy remedies, they have the potential to make you feel a bit tired and sleepy so be careful about driving, operating machinery or doing close work.

Felt weird when taking it

I have seasonal allergies and I am usually a Reactin girl, however we obtained Claritin pills and I thought I would try them as the value for them are pretty good. I only took one and felt as if my heart rate had increased by 100! It caused me extreme anxiety and was not able to sleep!

Fast allergy relief

Claritin has come out with a rapid dissolve, under the tongue, melting allergy medication. Its tasteless, works in seconds. Even a major allergic reaction ( seafood and tree nuts for me) can be mostly eliminated. Keep in my purse, and at home for emergency situations. Pricey, but so all the brandname aalkergy mefs.

Inneffective

This brand was on sale, so thought I would try it as opposed to the regular allergy medication I take. This product did not work as well... Mildly effective, at best.

Works for me

I suffer from allergies quite often and normally use Benadryl for relief. I found myself reacting at an event I was at and had no Benadryl my husband purchased this for me and I found it worked well for my allergies. I do personally find that Benadryl works quicker so I will probably stick with that but this will always be on hand as a close second.

life saver for allergies!

I love Claritin products, I have been buying that brand of allergy medication for years. It's very affective when allergies strike, it takes away all of your symptoms like runny nose, sneazing, itchy eyes and throat for quite some time.

Claritin

I suffer from really bad allergies year long to dust/pollens. I tried Claritin for an entire summer, took it every day and even worked up to 2 tabs (20mg) everyday. I found I was still sneezing, congested, itchy....I finally went to the pharmacist after a couple of months and he told me that Claritin is mainly used for itchy eyes associated with allergies and Reactine is better used for sneezing/congestion etc.....so unless itchy eyes is your main and only allergy related concern I would not recommend Claritin (I have since switched to Reactine and noticed a 75% improvement in 1 week)

I get horrible spring-time allergies. Claritin is the ONLY allergy medication that doesn't make me drowsy. I've been using it since I was a kid and they continue to make great products.

I don't know why this product gets so much positive reviews from everyone I talk too,I thought it was terrible ,I purchase the non drowsy, well guess what it not only made me extremely groggy it knocked me out .Even when I woke up I still felt medicated ,what a horrible feeling and furthermore it didn't seem to help my seasonal allergies ,it was a waste of money in my opinion. I will never buy this again

This did not seem to work for my pollen and seasonal allergies. I still experienced signs of sneezing, running nose, and nasal congestion. However, it had worked well to relieve my allergies to certain types of food, which allowed me to indulge without feeling pain. It was simple to take and worked quickly to keep my symptoms at bay. Its effects nearly lasted me a day. A must have for me.
