A delicious pesto!

I really like this Classico pesto sauce and spread as the flavour is great and you can really taste the quality of the product. It’s also very versatile and you can use it as a dip as well as incorporated into dishes and on bruschetta. The only downside which is similar with many pestos is the nutritional content. Because these are nut based and have a considerable amount of oil, perhaps not the healthiest option, so enjoy in moderation!

A little goes a long way

My love for Pesto started with a jar of Classico and a pasta dish a friend made for dinner. I can't believe I was missing out until my mid 30's.
I prefer the Classico brand over any other because it's thick and there is a strong bold pine nutty taste, which I crave. This little jar goes a long way, I always add a bit of olive oil in with my pasta anyway and then a few table spoons of this and the pasta dish is complete. I could eat Pesto every single day!!

This is great with warm Brie on crustini, on pasta, in bruschetta, with chicken ..... the list goes on and on. I highly recommend this product and it’s pretty reasonably priced and seems to go on sale frequently so you can stock up.

Classico Pesto di Genova è Delizioso!

This little jar of pesto goes a long way, both in quantity and flavour. The ingredients are so condensed that you only need a little for a large quantity of pasta. The Classico Pesto di Genova - Basil is very tasty, but my favourite is the the Classico Pesto di Sardegna - Sun-Dried Tomato. I added it to cold bow tie pasta with nothing else, as it didn't require anything else. Both of these pestos are full of flavouriciousness, and they will find a permanent place in my pantry.

Whenever I use this pesto in my Italian dishes my family always comments on how great the dish tastes. Just a little adds so much flavour to a dish. The price of this pesto is very reasonable compared to others.

If you like pesto sauce but do not want to make it from scratch you should give this sauce a try. It is on sale occasionally so I pick it up then. A little goes a long way and you can have the sauce covering your pasta without using a whole lot. The quality is great. This is a staple in our home and it keeps well for a long time in the fridge.
