I tried the base coat with their own polish and another cheap polish, and it actually did a great job of smoothing and making my manicure last. Smoothing was the biggest thing for me with the cheaper polish. I'd definitely recommend this base coat if you have some polishes you love that don't always apply nice and evenly.

CND CREATIVE PLAY BASE COAT

I love the ease of this base coat and was excited to try it out. It was easy to apply, but did not cover well. I needed to put multiple coats on which made the lacquer soft and took forever to dry.

Good base coat! Can really tell that it is protecting my nails and helping the nail polish last a lot longer. Smooth application as well! I will be using this often.

I #gotitfree from Chickadvisor to try along the the black nail polish and top coat. Out of the three, I'd say the base coat was the best. It was easy to apply and provided a good base so that black didn't stain my nails. It also gave my nails a smooth surface to apply the color coats.

A gorgeous base coat

Very pleased with this base coat product. It applies smoothly and easily, not too thick nor too thin. Leaves a nice, even base coat. Makes for easy polish application once it has dried.

Not usually one for base coats!

I received the three products to try from the ChickAdvisor review club.
Im usually not one for base coats as i haven't had much luck with them in the past, and always seemed like an unnecessary step.
I let the base coat dry for a bit longer than usual, and found that when i applied the first layer of polish, it almost wiped away some of the base coat - and diluted the colour.
Overall it seems to do the trick as my polish hasn't started to chip after 3 days!

Pretty good

I got this in the mail and I wasn't very impressed with the middle polish as it was chipping by the next day but the base coat went on smooth and dried fast so a win over all.

Nice basecoat

Thanks to chick advisor and getting to try it free, I was able to try out this CND basecoat. I liked the product compared to their actual nail polish colours. I liked that the base is slightly tinted and goes on smooth and easily.

Different but great!

I don't usually apply a base coat but realized that it made the nail lacquer last longer and increased the vibrancy of the color. It was easy to apply as well and dried quickly. #Gotitfree

Good quality, long lasting, chip proof

I loved this product! The base coat fills in lines and grooves from past shellac damage and created a smooth base for my nail polish. The lacquer only chipped after 5 days which is pretty long for my typical nail polish lifespan.
