I had received Plum Paisley from ChickAdvisor for free, to review. Being a regular polish user, as well as a SOG user, i was pretty excited to this this out.

The good points were that it applied fairly easily, and I loved the depth of purple I received. I was also glad that it didnt stain my nails as I had expected it to. It also didnt take an insane number of coats to look good (only had to do two).

Unfortunately for me, it didnt last past 2 days. Working with kids, I do end up washing my hands a lot more. However, I find that with shorter nails, and a good topcoat, I would get the same results with a regular polish. As such, for the price point, I did not think that this was worth it for me.

I would, however, reach for this on days/night events where I would need to ensure my nails to look good. I wouldnt have to double check if I had a problem and whether Id snag it on my stockings or something.

Anyway, I probably wouldnt purchase unless they were on sale for half the price. Loved the concept, but this one didnt work out well for me.

I was excited to get the chance to try Vinylux thru the Chick Advisor trials. When my package arrived both myself and my daughter were excited. She loved the pink colour we received. I am generally not a pink girl but once I tried it I did end up really liking the colour.
I am a Jamberry Nail Consultant and have been using their products pretty exclusively for over 2 years (Wraps, lacquer and gel) so I was excited to try out something different.
Here are some thoughts on our trial:

Easy: The product was easy to use and we did find that the layers did dry quite quickly. It went on smooth and was easy to achieve the thin coats with both the top coat and colour coat. In all we did two colour one top coat.

Durability: We found while the product did last longer then most regular polishes we did not get the full week out of the mani... My manicure tips started to wear with in 2 days and larger chips were present by day 4. My daughters lasted a bit longer and never showed the wear just chipped at day 5.

I did enjoy the look and feel of the product and for someone who is maybe lighter on their hands I would for sure recommend. I probably won't purchase again for my own use but for my daughter it did seem worth it.

I received CND's Weekly Polish in the shade Regally Yours as well as their Weekly Top Coat for review purposes from ChickAdvisor. Regally Yours is a deep purple shade that looks more black than purple when applied. Overall I have to say I was generally happy with this product. Given that it was such a dark, vampy shade and I didn't apply a base coat, I expected it to stain my nails but it didn't at all. The formula was on the thinner side so I expected it to be patchy but it actually applied fairly opague with 2 coats. I was really impressed with how glossy my nails were after I used the top coat, I'm not sure I've ever seen them look that shiny!
Unfortunately I didn't get a week's worth of wear out of this - it started chipping a few days in which was disappointing. However I was doing a fair bit of cleaning this week so I'm going to test it out again under more "normal conditions" and see if that makes a difference. Overall though the polish seems like pretty good quality so I could see myself giving their other shades a try.

I received a lovely purple shade to try for a review and I have to say I was very impressed first with the shade and then equally impressed with the product. It goes on very smoothly and has a great shine when used with the top coat. I found it to be quite durable. Not lasting the full week as I had expected but then I was gardening and washing dishes etc. so wear and tear is inevitable. Over all, were I not so hard on my nails, I am sure it would be lasted much longer. I'm thankful for the chance to have been able to try this product and do a review of it.

I received the colour Salmon Run as part of the review box. Although the colour probably would not have been one i would have chosen on my own to purchase, it ended up being a nice colour.
The formula itself is a bit hard to work with. As some other reviewers have mentioned, the polish goes on quite 'streaky' and doesn't cover completely. I had to do 3 coats to get an even coverage - and i still was not completely happy with it.
I left it on for about 4 days, but it started to chip so bad i couldn't stand it and had to remove it.
It could have been the light colour that made it so hard to get good coverage - as i do find that to be the case with other brands.
Overall it is a decent polish, and i would consider purchasing, in a different colour this time :)

Thanks to @ChickAdvisor and @CND_Canada I was given the opportunity to review the new CND Vinyl Weekly Polish. I was over the moon excited to try out this polish as I had never even heard of this brand before. I have been comfortable using my usual name brand polish and have not strayed. When I was telling friends about this product -new to me- that I was about to test, there were oohs and ahh and 'I LOVE that brand'. This started my testing out on a very positive note. I was looking forward to trying the polish.

I love the look of painted toe nails and mine are coloured almost around the calendar. I was sent a bottle of polish and the top coat. At first glance I wondered about the colour. The top coat comes in a dark bottle which through me off for a minute and the polish was #161 Burnt Romance. Darker than I normally use at this time of the year.

After prepping my nails, I applied the polish. The instructions said to use 2 thin coats but I found that I needed to use 3 thin coats to have the coverage I desired. The polish went on easily without blobbing or running. The top coat was equally as easy to apply and I love the shiny polished look that resulted.

I would happily recommend this polish system to others. My colour is 'tough as nails' and lasting a long time. This is important as I don't have time to keep changing colours due to chipping.

I had the opportunity to try this product out for free thanks to Chick Advisor and I was very lucky to get picked. I had never had the opportunity to use CND Vinylux before and I have to admit it was a pleasant surprise. The bottle was easy to open, unlike some other polishes on the market, and the brush was a good size. This made the application process very easy. The polish dried quickly so it didn't take too long to apply the second coat. I also liked the fact that there was no harsh chemical smell. The colour never chipped or faded and it was easy to remove. The only downside for me is that when I tried out the polish, I received the colour called Wild Moss. It was not flattering with my skin tone or anything that I wear. There are however, a good variety of other colours and I will definitely be trying out a different colour in the future.

I have to say the polish applied great - all you need is two coats and a top coat. I found that it dried and set quickly. Below are the results of how the polish wore for the full 7 days. I was impressed that after 7 days the polish did still look very shiny, but as you can see, by day 7, only my pinky finger was chip free. I have to admit we did have quite a few cloudy days over the past week, and rain so I wasn't able to spend too much time in the sun. That may have impacted how the polish wore since you need natural light to "cure" it.

​Even though I had a major chip by day 5, I still found this polish wore better than regular nail polish. After 5 days after the abuse my poor hands take I'm impressed at how it looked in the end. Overall, I would repurchase this product.

I was so excited to receive this product for review! I received the colour Plum Paisley (#175) and immediately loved the colour as soon as I saw it. It's a deep purple plum colour, very nice. Followed the direction and used 2 coats of polish and one top coat. Coverage is great and the staying power was much better than my usual brand of polish! I do computer work all day so i typically have chipping within a day or two, with VinlyLux it was nearly a week! Would definitely recommend and purchase again! Thanks for the opportunity!

I was really happy to receive this product for testing purposes. The color was a fast two coat application and both the color and the top coat dried very quickly. I was really pleased because the color lasted for almost two weeks! I will definitely purchase this polish again.
