Not the mascara for me.

I was really excited to receive this mascara. However I was very disappointed in the product. The wand is far too big for my eyes, so it is messy to use. It is very hard to build up the product on the lashes to get the desired result. This mascara also made my eyes hurt and overall was not a good product for me. I appreciate the chance to try it though.

Not for my lashes

I was very excited to try a new mascara but unfortunately I was disappointed in the results I got after application. After application, I realized that I had clumpy eyelashes and my eyelashes felt heavy. On flip side, the design of the tube is nice with its vibrant color and has a convenient size. Hopefully, others get better results.

Awful

I was not impressed with this mascara, it was clumpy and didn’t do anything for volume or length. I gave it to my mom to try and she didn’t like it either. She found it didn’t give any volume or length. I wouldn’t recommend this if that’s what you’re looking for.

Déception

J'ai reçu le mascara volumisant avec un sérum hydratant. Malheureusement, il n'offre pas de volume ou de longueur. De plus il est long à sècher et coule/s'effrite facilement. #covergirl #simplyageless #crueltyfree

Did not work for me

While the mascara went on smoothly without any clumps …it unfortunately did not work for me. I saw virtually no difference and neither did anyone else when I asked if they liked my eyelashes.

I would not buy it

I got this mascara for free in exchange for the honest review. I would not buy this mascara as it gave me terrible raccoon eyes in the upper lids. At the end of the day most of the product was left on my upper lids not my lashes. However my eyes did not hurt from it and it washed of with a cotton pad and just water.

Not For Me

This is a 3-in-1 mascara that acts as a primer, serum and mascara. It lengthened my lashes but didn't give them much volume. The formula was dry and it clumped on me. It flaked really bad throughout the day and I had to constantly wipe under my eye area. I can't recommend this mascara. #gotitfree

Did nothing for my lashes at all

I was so excited to try this mascara because I absolutely adore Cover Girl products and could really use some lash plumping in my life. But. I was extremely disappointed. The package is a beautiful purple, and when I open the wand, it looked like a good consistency of product. The brush of the wand is very chunky and doesn’t have much shape. I tried it on my eye and found barely any product transferred. Since the brush is so fat it kept hitting below and above my eye and kind of ruined my eye make up. I thought maybe that I just needed to give it another chance. I used it all week. But every single time I used it, I had to reapply other mascara and fix my eye make up.

I REALLY wanted to love this but….

I was very excited to try the new Cover Girl Simply Ageless Lash Plumping Mascara, as it has been many years since I have used a Cover Girl product. Packaging is cute but the product did not work for me. I found the formula to be very wet and even after five coats the lift was non existent.

Not effective at all

First, I received this product free to try from ChickAdvisor/Butterly.
I really wanted to love this product. My go-to mascara has been the YSL Volume Effect Faux Cils mascara and I've been pretty happy with it although it's nice to find a more cost-effective option. This mascara is not it. I'm also a makeup artist and have worked with a lot of different mascaras.
I have fairly short lashes with a bit of curl. I found this mascara barely looked like I was wearing mascara besides making my lashes darker. Any "lift" I provided only lashes minutes before my lashes fell. I don't really get much lash fallout in general so I didn't really notice a difference with this. It definitely didn't plump or make my lashes look more volumous.
I don't have thick lashes to begin with but I think the issue is that the wand is too thick/has too many bristles so there's not much space for the wand to catch your lashes and really coat them - it mainly just brushes up against them. You really have to work to get all your lashes coated.
I ended up applying my YSL mascara on top of this CoverGirl mascara to go out and immediately noticed a huge difference in my lashes in comparison to the CoverGirl one.
Unfortunately, I won't be re-purchasing and will be heading to Sephora instead.
