I've tried both this and the deodorant version and honestly I couldn't tell the difference and neither could my husband. It's still a great deodorant, long lasting, but an anti-perspirant like this can contain chemicals some might not want to use.

I personally didn't find it irritated me, but I found it controlled sweat about the same as the deodorant, so I'd probably opt for that given the choice.
