Though there was not an immediate change in my hairs hydration, I did find that after the use of a week my hair became noticeably more silky and smooth. There is definitely a chance that I would try this product again.

My hair is extremely dry, after removing black hair colour and then lightening to blonde - this shampoo added a lot of moisture, with a lovely scent. While my hair has been feeling very "straw like" lately - this brings relief!

I wasn't sure how this shampoo would work. I cut most of my hair off recently and it wasn't ever overly dry or damage, as I don't heat style or dye my hair. But I do find I get slightly greasy roots and the ends are dry. Now that most of that was removed, I was worried that this would be to moisturizing and heavy for my now, more normal hair. It's wasn't at all. I wouldn't say that I noticed much difference in my hair really. It was softer feeling. Now the product itself has a bit of an odd scent. I assumed it would have that overpowering coconut smell and it doesn't have it at all. I can't pin point the scent, but at least it's not a strong scent and it doesn't last on the hair. The shampoo is a little creamy but lathers pretty good and doesn't leave a residue feeling.

I love coconut! Although I wish it was slightly more coconut scented, I'm still pleased with the scent. The shampoo leaves my hair feeling and smelling great! It does leave my hair clean but still hydrated.

Upon getting this in the mail, first thing I did was smell it. The smell is more lime like rather than coconut. I'm not a fan of this smell at all, rather disappointing really.

That being said, this shampoo works well. My hair is left clean and there's no residue or oily feel to it. Combined with the conditioner, my hair is left light, soft and manageable.

I'm undecided about buying again due to the smell. I like nice smelling shampoo, and this doesn't live up to my preferences. It is a good product though.

I was pleasantly surprised by the results of my initial smell test of the Dove Nutritive Solutions Coconut & Hydration Shampoo. In other reviews of Dove Shampoo, I always state that the scent always remains the same, and it is hard to distinguish between their different lines. This is definitely a Dove Shampoo with a hint of Coconut. If you love the reliability of Dove Shampoos (it left my hair feeling awesome, as per all Dove shampoos) but like to switch up your hair scent, then it's the perfect choice!

I was super excited to try this shampoo because of the scent and the hydration that my hair needed. When the set arrived I rushed to open the package and the shampoo. I loved the scent of coconut with the lime it was nice and light. The scent was refreshing rather then overbearing like some shampoos. I used the shampoo and conditioner in the shower and was delightfully surprised when my hair felt extremely clean after I rinsed. It was light to go into my hair and still remove all the hair products. Really effective shampoo for taking out hair products, just wish it didn't have all the harmful chemicals in it.

I used it 3-4 times now and love feeling my hair being soft, smooth and silky!!! Dove is a great brand and this is another good product!!! Definitely go buy it!!!

I received this product (along with the conditioner) to try for free as part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club and have been using it on a nearly daily basis for about two weeks. For background, I have a lot of thick fairly straight hair that becomes oily quickly so I need a shampoo that can handle everyday use. The smell was a bit stronger and more perfumy than I expected given the coconut water & lime description, however it didn't irritate my allergies like some other strong smells. I found that this shampoo lathers and rinses out well (which can be a challenge when I have so much thick hair). After using the shampoo and conditioner system, my hair was indeed soft and smooth like the bottle claims. The only downside I found is that, like with all other everyday shampoos I have tried so far, my hair looks oily the next day so needs to be washed again. However, this shampoo didn't make any claims that it would help me go a day without washing. Overall, I would recommend this shampoo and conditioner system for women looking for a system that can be used everyday to leave their hair soft and smooth.

Dove Nutritive Solutions Coconut and Hydration shampoo is a reasonably priced, nice smelling shampoo that does a pretty good job of cleaning your hair. Overall, it was not some amazing transformation. My hair looked and felt the same. It was about as manageable as with my last shampoo. It left my hair clean and sweet smelling. I did hope my hair would feel more soft and smooth. I did not feel there was much change.
If this shampoo was on sale, I would buy it.
