I received this product for free to review thanks to Chick Advisor. Unfortunately I was not a fan of this scent. The product itself works great but there are simply a lot of other dry oils that are out on the market that works just as great, but smells better and has a lower price point.

Great things about this product- the scent was very lovely- it didn't leave any sort of oily residue on the hair, and it made my hair look shiny and super well conditioned! A dabble goes a long way, and it's perfect for styling on wet or dry hair. Will pass this on to a girlfriend!

In all honesty, I wasn’t thrilled about trying the hair oil – I had never used it before and didn’t really see why I should. This was the hands down winner of the Dove products I tried – I am seriously addicted. My hair had gross ends that looked fried and I figured were just dead hair and needed to be cut off. I used the oil after washing my hair (applied when my hair was wet), and after blowdrying, all of my hair (ends included are shiny and soft. Apparently I just needed some dry oil to revive my hair! My hair is thick and wavy with tons of flyaways, and it just takes a few drops to spread easily through all of my hair. I didn’t love the scent of it, but the scent doesn’t last anyway. It is not a cheap product (about $15 for 100ml), but I will definitely be buying it again (which probably won’t be for awhile, you use so little it will last a long time!)

So i've used the legit Moroccan oil for years now - the stuff that's about $40 a bottle. I use it every time I wash my hair, which is usually twice a week. When I tried this, I had pretty low expectations because I really love the Moroccan oil..... but the Dove oil is actually pretty great! I would say it's very comparable to the Moroccan oil you get in salons and way way cheaper. The scent is light and I just put it on my ends and it just makes my hair more manageable, and oddly I find it air dries quicker when I use this. The pump squirts out a very small amount of product, and I used two squirts for my medium length hair. At that rate, this bottle will last me forever.

I was pretty nervous at first about putting oil in my hair, I generally find my hair gets oily on it's own pretty quick. I was pleasantly surprised to find though that this product definitely did not leave my hair feeling oily.

I like the smell of it and I also found that a little bit went a long way. I can see this bottle lasting me a while! My hair felt very silky and was definitely moisturized after using it. It didn't leave my hair feeling heavy or weighed down, so another plus!

I don't know that this is a product I would need all the time, but it's definitely nice to have to add to my routine in the winter when I do find my hair is a bit on the dry side.

First I noticed was that it's in a glass bottle. I wasn't too keen on that, as I was worried about potentially dropping it, or it getting knocked off the shelf and breaking. I also have a busy house with 5 children, and face it, accidents happen. I would prefer this product if it was in a plastic bottle instead.

This product didn't leave my hair oily or geasy looking, which was a concern of mine. Instead, my hair seemed soft and silky after using it. I only used a couple small pumps of the product, and I think if I used anymore as per the directions it would have turned my hair into an ugly mess. A little goes along way!

Another thing, I wasn't too keen on the scent. I enjoy products that leave my hair smelling great, and this just seemed to be another plain, product that smelt mediocre. It it had say a more coconutty smell or even floral I would like it much better.

I may not buy this all the time, as, like I said, a little goes a long way, but especially for the winter months, I will treat my hair to a little extra help once in a while.

Interesting product, not something I have ever tried before. It is good and feels nice to give your hair a treatment every once in a while especially for the cost of this product.

I have very fine, colour treated hair and i like this product. It smells amazing. made my hair feel soft and wasn't greasy. It did seem to weigh my hair down a bit. Its not something i'll use often but when my hair is feeling extra dry I can see it being beneficial. I may not purchase it again but would recommend it for someone else who needs this kind of product
