Never Buying Deodorant again just the Refills 🙌🏼

Thankyou @chickadvisor @dove @dovemencare for sending us these reusable and refillable 0% Aluminum Deodorant. I was already using the 0% aluminum deodorant by dove but i am delighted to see they came up with this idea of refillable and reusable packaging for deodorants, its sucha positive decision to come up with reusable and refillable packaging. I also love the fact that the base and case are both made up of stainless steel which definitely makes it durable and sturdy to use it on a regular basis. My husband and i are delighted to be a part of this campaign 🙌🏼 we love the scents sent to us so natural and pure ❤️ and glad to be a part of something contributing to save our planet 🌏 #ProductReviewClub

Love this concept!

I received this product free from Butterly and Unilever in exchange for my honest review. I absolutely love this concept! The deodorant parts are very user friendly and does not take long to install! I loved that you are not left with much to discard and the case is reusable. The deodorant case itself is very appealing and nice looking! Great product! Amazing concept!

Love the reusable packaging

The container is so well made, it’s compact yet holds some good weight to it. I have been leaning into using less plastic in my day-to-day life and this was a great addition. It’s not the scent I would have chosen, but none the less, I’m impressed! Also live the 0% aluminum!

Great Concept - Effectiveness is subjective

Thank you Chickadvisor and Butterly for choosing me to review Dove + Schmidt's deodorant #gotitfree.

My thoughts on the packaging of the deodorant is the same as my review on the men's one, love the stainless steel packaging and the fact that you can just buy the refill's and it saves plastic packing - win win!!

Effectiveness of the deodorant was ok for me - I didn't hate it however if you sweat a lot and are typically a bit stinky then this might not be for you since it is natural - you can usually smell yourself quite a bit.

The consistency is gel like and is very "sticky" feeling - I'm not a huge fan of sticky deodorants however they aren't deal breakers and since my t-shirts usually take care of that it was ok for me. Smell is a nice clean cucumber smell - I liked it but may not be liked by everyone.

The reason I gave 3 stars was because of it's effectiveness isn't what I personally like in deodorants and also mine broke after using it for a week and a half - the actual gel part broke of the base so it's basically unusable to me now which was a bit irritating.

Overall - I would recommend it to people to at least try out, I'm not sure I would re-purchase but I'm so happy I was able to try it out.

Great Quality, Poor Value

The Dove Cucumber & Green Tea Deodorant Stick Refill Kit contains the stainless steel case, and the cucumber and green tea scent deodorant. The scent is very fresh smelling, not too strong either. It’s in a very portable size, perfect for on-the-go.

The distinguishing factor between these deodorants and others is the environmental impact. These products come in packing made of 98% recycled plastic. The case itself is reusable, and the refills are available for purchase. These are also both aluminium-free and cruelty-free!

The only downside (I’ll admit it’s a huge downside) is the cost. The starter kit itself comes in at a whopping $19.97 at Walmart, and the refill kit (2 sticks) is $11.97. Also to note: each stick is only 32g, whereas the cheaper, regular stick is 74g! This is just not feasible for the average consumer. That said, if you have the extra money to spend, or can find a really good deal on these, definitely go for it!

A new idea for staying fresh and reducing packing

This Dove refillable deodorant is a great idea to help reduce packaging in a world with increasing climate change. Anything that helps reduce waste is a great idea. The product itself was lightly scented, so as not to interfere with any perfume you may use. Application was smooth and odor was kept away. I found that it did need to be applied daily so the 48 hour freshness did not work with me. My only concern as I have seen with other products that are refillable, is that the concept is not long lasting and finding refills can be a challenge. Worth a try and worth the attempt to reduce packaging.

Nice

I absolutely love this produc. Its sustainable and eco friendly. I loved that my favourite brand of dévorant came with an alternative way of producing less plastic waste and without aluminum too ont their products. However I do feel like the prices for the refills are a bit too high than what I would normally purchase.

Great Product

I got to try the Dove Refillable Deodarant Starter Kit, Cucumber + Green Tea and love that it is refillable and has less waste overall. The cucumber and green tea scent was very nice but not overpowering and it did not irrate my skin at all. My skin felt soft and not sticky. Another thing that I like about this is the compact size.

Fresh scent

I tried the women deodorant and love the fact that it's aluminum free and made with Natural ingredients and scent which is cucumber and green tea is also very fresh and light and last all day and doesn't stains my clothes.
