Great idea - not sure about the implementation

The idea of refillable deodorant is great, and I love Dove products overall, but I am not sold on this exact product. I do like that it is aluminum free, goes on smoothly, and lasted all day. It has a sleek minimalist look, and it is easy to assemble.
Onto the negatives, first, it is very flimsy, and while it hasn't broken yet, I feel it might be breaking off the base soon. Second, there is still a lot plastic involved, which I think can be minimized. Third, I am not a big fan of the cucumber scent, in general, but others may enjoy. I also think it will be too heavy to travel with, as most airlines weigh carry-ons.

I’m enjoying the Dove refillable deodorant and its purpose!
It’s smelling pretty good and left my skin soft and protected.
The package is beautiful and environmentally friendly. You can buy only the refill to produce less garbage; mother nature is grateful!

Amazing scent. Eco friendly

I super love the scent. Keeps me feeling fresh all day. My husband loved it too. Its gentle on skin too. Gives that smooth feeling. And its refilable too which is very good to the environment.

Wow! I love.

As a Dove user, I currently use their Antiperspirant Dry Spray in the scent cool essentials. I know it’s not ideal for the environment, and I’ve been wanting to go ecologically friendly with the products I use. So i was so happy to be chosen to review and use this new product! It’s the perfect size, and it uses refills! So you’re not stuck buying a whole new bottle of stick deo/dry spray. I also love the smell! It offers protection all day long and has the same amount product as a normal stick deodorant would. It’s also the PERFECT size for throwing in your purse or gym bag, which is an added bonus.

Love the scent and 0% aluminum

I love this fresh green tea scent, it is not overpowering but lovely!
I love how the product can be refilled. To be honest that is my favourite part. I am always trying to cut back on my plastics use. I also love that it has 0% aluminum. I am done with putting that stuff on my body! I will be buying the refills again and again.

Great Idea!

First off, I love the idea of a refillable deodorant! I really liked the stainless steel container. It is something that looks great sitting out on a shelf, it doesn’t need to be hidden away! Putting the refill onto the base was very easy, just twist it on. The scent was very nice and lasted all day. The only thing I did not like was that it left my underarms feeling tacky all day. It was a very uncomfortable feeling that I just couldn’t get over.

Love it! This deodorant smells great! Super fresh, and goes on smooth/clean. Love that it is aluminum free, and gives the equivalent odor stopping protection I need. Anytime I can eliminate waste, and reduce my carbon footprint I am happy for it. Bonus is there is just a tiny recyclable plastic afterwards. I will be purchasing both the ladies, and mens for my teenagers today. I can’t wait to see how much them like it. Recommending to all my friends, and family. Love the packaging

I received this deodorant for free from chickadvisor and I love it.

The design is so sleek and modern. The deodorant itself feel nice and kept me dry all day. It smells so nice too.

It is a bit pricey so I definitely think Dove needs to work on that for me to buy again.

I received this Dove Cucumber and Green tea Refillable Sensitive Starter kit in exchange for my honest review. First of all I absolutely love the idea of making a refillable container to help keep all of the plastic out of landfills. The smell of this deodorant is so fresh and keeps me smelling great all day long! I also love how compact and portable the packaging is, it's sleek and fits perfectly in my small purse so I can take it on the go! I definitely recommend it.

Help the environment

I like the idea of helping the planet with a refillable deodorant but at what cost to the consumer? I received the @Dove refillable deodorant in cucumber and green tea from @chickadvisor. The starter pack comes with the stainless steel case and 32g of deodorant which is close to half the amount you would get from a regular deodorant bar. This is the major downside I see as this would result in buying refills more frequently. However, the size is better for travelling or keeping in your purse as it is also stylish. I think that if you are not a diehard dove fan, this product would not make sense to purchase. If you are though, this stainless steel case comes with a lifetime guarantee.

The one upside to the packaging is the plastic pack that keeps the refill fresh is 98% recycled plastic. I did like the smell of this product and the deodorant was very moisturizing. I would like this product better if they offered an antiperspirant option as well as I felt this deodorant didn’t leave me smelling fresh through the day let along 48 hours. I wonder how difficult it would be to find the refill packs and whether they are more expensive then buying similar plastic free products on the market. #gotitfree #productreviewclub
