I get a rash every time I use Dove. Not sure what's in it that other brands don't have, but I've tried it many time throughout my life and can honestly say I can not use it.

It was not effective at all. I would not recommend it to anyone to use. I would recommend trying other brands as an alternative.

I'm pretty disappointed in this soap. I remember all the ads from dove about how it doesn't dry out your skin and how it is supposed to moisturize etc etc. I didn't find any of these claims true and was pretty disappointed. I found it left a film of dryness on my skin and definitely is not my favorite soap.

I honestly did not find this soap to live up to the hype; simply, my skin did not feel clean after washing with it and the scent was too strong. In fact, this soap is definitely not good for those with allergies or sensitivities to fragrances.

Vegetarians and vegans should note that this product contains sodium tallowate. I e-mailed Dove customer service to ask if this product was rendered from animal fat and received no response.

i bought this soap and used it and ended up have soap resiude on me after trying to wash it off ended up with a dry rash and everything I would not suggest this to anyone

As a dove fan I was excited to try this beauty bar, though the excitement dissapated as I took the bar out of the package, what an overwhelming scent! The scent wasnt unpleasant but the strength of it sure was!!! I used it and it seemed to be ok though i would say i get more moisturizing out of my body wash. When i got home from work i walked by the bathroom door and could smell it right away! Not what i look for in a soap! I wont buy it!

I really can't stand the smell of this bar and it gives me a head ache! I will not be purchasing this again!

First I should mention that there are only two criteria I have for a soap:

1. It should have a lovely scent (I'm partial to natural types like vanilla or coconut).
2. It should make my skin feel great.

Those are my criteria in that order. If the soap doesn't pass the first criteria then I don't care how good it makes my skin feel. I need to enjoy the scent while it does it's job. And I need to be able to catch a whiff of it throughout my day and it should make me smile.

Unfortunately this bar failed my first criteria and so it really didn't matter to me that is was a very moisturizing soap.

The scent is overpowering and very perfumey. I found the scent to be reminiscent of cheap perfume that is cloying and allergy inducing. I hated it to say the least. Even inside the box you can get a good whiff of it, so I recommend you have a smell before you buy to see if it appeals to you. If you don't mind the scent then you might love the bar. I could not tolerate the scent and so I only used it once.

Compared to bar soaps from The Body Shop or Lush this bar does not even come close and is not worth the buy.

If Dove decided to create a soap with a pleasant scent than I might consider switching. I have tried their other soaps (Cool Cucumber and Scent Free) and I was not impressed enough to switch brands.

On the positive, it is not drying and feels pleasant.

Couldn't use this as the scent was too strong. I opened the package to smell it and then left it on a chair. The next day I put it by my door as the scent was driving me nuts. Unfortunately the chair held the scent for TWO DAYS.
That being said, I am giving it to a friends mother who loves the scent of this product and uses this soap all the time. Perhapes her ability to smell has been compremized over the years and she needs a big scent to detect it. So for that person this product just might be a good one!
As I wrote before, not worth it for me, but for someone elso maybe its great.
