After using the Dove Original Beauty Cream Bar, I have to say that I am overall impressed.

Smell to me was perfect, not overpowering but enough that you could still smell it after using it. In the past I have always had to use extra lotion after using soap, not this time. The soap left my skin almost perfect with no need for extra lotion. A friend of mine also bought the soap & thought the same thing. I quite enjoyed it & am sure that I will be making it our usual soap brand in our house.

I love this product. It smells heavenly, not too strong, but soft and pretty. It is gentle enough to be used on my face, and all the body. I even used it to wash some things by hand. My skin felt soft and clean. My son used it too and he loved it. The dermatologist even reccommended it for his acne-prone skin. Does not dry out the skin. The price is a bit high, I will definitely stock up when it is on sale or I have coupons.

I love the dove beauty bar! It is the only thing I can use on my skin, I have completely switched! It is moisturizing, softening, and is not full of heavy perfumes. It lasts much longer than most body wash, and is much more affordable. Love it!

I noticed a big diffeence in the softness of my skin..I have roscea and cannot use harsh or abrasive soaps..this Dove bar is wonderful fo me..plus love the smell of it!

I receive the dove beauty bar free from the Chick Advisor Review Club. I usually use bar soaps but was not really interested in changing from what I knew I liked. As I used the dove bar for the past two weeks I noticed that my skin felt smoother than usual, and just extra clean. I have psoriasis and soap really irritates the area affected, however the Dove bar has moisturized my skin so well that there was absolutely no irritation. I am very happy about this! I will definitely recommend Dove to everyone I know!

I was so happy to be chosen to review this product from the Chickadvisor Product Review Club, I normally use liquid soap, sometimes bar soap as well. When I received this product I found it had a soft scent, kind of a soft baby powder smell, it's not over powering, but I like it.

After using this soap I find it has a creamy texture, it left my skin feeling soft and moisturized, a nice clean feeling. The scent lasts on your body for a while, a lot longer than most scented soaps I found. I found after using this that I wasn't itchy or had the normal dry flaky skin.

I love the shape of the soap, it fits nicely in your hand, it's not as slippery as most soaps, I think it's the combination of the shape and all the moisturiizing cream in it. I found this soap lathers great too. I would definately recommend someone with dry itchy skin to give this soap a try, and especially if you like to have a scent from your soap to linger around.

After reviewing the dove beauty bar, I say that I would definately buy this if choosing a "bar " soap. The bar left my skin feeling moisture and didn't feel like there was residue left on my skin after use. It lathered very well and I loved the scent, however my teenage boys did not love the scent , they felt it smelled too girly, and I think I would agree with them !

I use Dove original beauty cream bar right away after I received it, and I feel my skin not itchy after having a shower, in opposite,my skin is silky smooth,I am supper happy with this change, I definity feel it is worth to pay a little more to use this brand and would recommend it to my friends

As someone who usually uses liquid body soap, the Dove Original Beauty Cream Bar was a pleasant surprise.

The pros:
Finally, a soap bar that doesn't make my skin feel waxy afterwards! I also liked the ergonomic bar shape which fitted nicely in my hand, making it easy to hold and use. It lathers great, and my skin felt moisturized after I used it.

The cons:
The scent was a little too strong for me. The soap scent was overwhelming when I opened the package, but it's much more mild when I actually used it in the shower. I didn't think it smelled bad at all, but its worth noting for some who don't like scented soap. It's also worth looking into other scents Dove has available, such as Cucumber & Green Tea =)

Overall, I think Dove has a winner with their beauty 'soap' bar: it does what it's supposed to do at a reasonable price. While I might not make the switch from liquid body soap anytime soon, if I had to use a soap bar, I would choose Dove.
