I gave this an amazing rating for effectiveness not because it does well what it is originally intended for which is to apply powder with. It's just too dense for the job. This is FANTASTIC though for applying liquid foundation. I am not a fan of the heavy, mask like effect that Revlon CS can give, but when applied with this brush, it gives a soft, smooth, natural effect. I stipple the foundation on and buff with the same brush. If I want a heavier coverage, I just repeat the process again. The brush is so soft, and when washed, does not shed, and dries very quickly.
