I really enjoyed this powder to set my makeup. It works for taking the oil away and it's cheap!

I love this powder! I use it in the mornings to set my makeup and later in the day (after about 6-8 hours) to set my very oily skin.

Essence has become my go to for mascara and now also matte powder! I use this daily to set my make up. It leaves me shine free all day and that's saying a lot for an oily skinned gal. For only a few dollars I definitely love it more than a few other expensive brands that I have tried.

I love those pruducts they are affordable and effective ! I like this powder because it makes my skin matte but the only thing I have to say about it is that you need to refresh your powder over the day :) But really good product

This product broke me out SOOOOOO bad. My entire face where I applied it broke out all 3 chances I gave it. Was very disappointed as this rarely happens with my skin.

Works very good for the price you pay. I thought I'd use it as backup, but Im using it everyday. It does a good job.

This product didn't do much for me, unfortunately. Price, you can't beat it.

Love this powder! I use this every day to help keep the shine under control without adding a fake make-up color.

Well, like most Essence products it is very well priced. Unlike other Essence products, I didn't really care for this product. It left too much of a white cast on my face and left my skin too texturized. I didn't try it with a setting spray afterwards, but the white cast was enough of a turn off for me. I am a huge fan of several Essence products, but not every one is a hit with me, and this is one of them. But I usually find that with face makeup I prefer high end (I am 34 so i do all i can to make my skin appear smooth and line free :)), while lips, mascara, eyeliner and blush I can get away with going with drug store or bargain brands. Pass on this one. I wont say it is terrible or doesn't work, because I am sure if i had no other option I could make it work somehow but i don't really want to put that much effort into it!

The finish is very natural and doesn't look obvious at all on the skin but it really, really mattifies! Looks ghostly white in the pan, just like the MAC Prep & Prime but doesn't leave an obvious white cast, just makes my face look more luminous, yet matte. I use it on my t-zone and under my eyes with a small rounded brush, and touch-up whenever needed. I'm quite pale myself though, so if you have a deeper skin tone might be wise to proceed with caution.
