I know this is an almost unanimously loved nail polish, but I find it chips very easily. It applies smoothly for me and looks great, just not for long. The texture, shine and colour are nice, but don't expect your perfectly painted nails to last for more than half a week.

Works great, goes on smoothly, rarely needs a second coat. Stays on, doesn't chip easily and comes in fantastic colours.

I love Essie nail polish! Being a nail polish junkie I've tried just about every brand, and although I've got some favourite colours that aren't Essie, when it comes to overall quality and colour selection, this brand wins. It's not the cheapest nail polish, but it's worth the price. Each bottle can be from $6-$14 depending on where you get it from (I tend to shop at Walmart because it's on the cheaper side). The colours are amazing - the shades are all very wearable and trendy, and often when I get compliments on my nail colour it's an Essie polish I'm wearing. I love that the brush is the perfect size for covering the nail in just a few strokes without getting a lot on your skin. The quality of the product is great too. I find the lighter colours need a few extra coats, but they last a lot longer. This polish doesn't chip easily, and I find most of the colours (lighter ones especially) never chip, and instead they just fade away at the tips. Overall a great polish!

I love Essie's colours but the only problem I have is that it is quite streaky. But the colours are stunning and the nail polish is really good quality. It rarely chips, which I absolutely love.

I love Essie nail polish! It is by far the best polish I have tried. There is such a wide variety of colours available, which i love. I find that it goes on very nicely without tons of streaks or clumps. The only thing I don't like is the price. I don't enjoy paying around $10 per bottle. That being said, I would rather pay that than buy a bunch of cheap polishes that don't work as well. I definitely recommend giving this brand a try!

I've been using Essie's base and quick-dry top coats, but just got my first actual Essie nail polish recently, in Cashmere Bathrobe (from the Fall 2013 Collection).
I've been looking for a nice gray type of colour, and when I saw this it looked perfect. It's a "soft, true flannel gray", with a few tiny specks of shimmer/glitter. I love that it's a rich, creamy colour, but not too dark, and the shimmer flecks are only visible up close. They give it extra shine, but it isn't an actual shimmer or glitter polish.
The formula was great - just like other higher end nail polishes, it was easy to use and dried well.
The brush Essie uses isn't my absolute favourite but it gets the job done well, and definitely gives a bit more precision because it's slightly smaller and thinner than some brushes.
I really love Cashmere Bathrobe, and look forward to trying some other Essie shades!

The reason I love Essie polish is that they have really beautiful colors. I love my hands and feet done but right now I use Essie at home. It has colors that will fill everyone needs. It has lasting results on my hand and feet. You can find a color for everybody's need to casual or really dressing it up. Really loving it!

I really like Essie nail polishes, they are slowly coming to Canada, for awhile, I could only get them in US. The have tons of shades, and for some odd reason I really like the bottles.

They last a decent time, 2-3 days before chipping (I am not always super careful with my hands). They also go on smooth and look good on the nail.

My only con for these nail polishes is the price (around $10), which is why I only own a few. I like variety and I feel they are too pricey to buy a whole bunch.
