Great foundation for my oily combination skin! Goes on smooth, stays in place all day! Does not cause breakouts

This is a very long lasting foundation. It goes in smooth and dries down fairly fast. The coverage is full but spreads on very well. Looks amazing for hours. I have oily skin and makeup usually separates on my skin after a few hours. This stuff is amazing! Colour match is good but wish they had a bigger colour range. There is no pump either which isn't ideal.

AWESOME foundation. Very true to what it claims to do. It's very long wearing, doesn't transfer, and it covers perfectly. I use my foundation with the primer from the same line. Make sure to moisturize or it can look a little dry.

Due to the rave reviews about Estee Lauder's Double Wear stay in place makeup foundation I decided to try a 10 day sample in 3N1 Ivory Beige and 3W1 Tawny. The 3N1 Ivory Beige targets the light-meduium neutral skin tones, while the 3W1 is a beautiful warm medium colour foundation for olive skin tones.

I have never tried a cosmetic brand that offers so much variety for every skin tones from a porcelain, fair, medium to deep skin tone. One attribute that I love about this foundation is that it does not tend to oxidize on my combination skin, like many other foundations have done. I prefer to apply a light moisturizer, primer, setting power and spray to get a 100% flawless and airbrushed effect. I use a foundation brush to apply a very light first coat, wait a minute and apply a second coat (if needed). I generally use a Kabuki brush to blend further to get a more natural and airbrushed effect

This foundation will get caky if you apply to much, since little goes a very long way. It is very important to select an appropriate foundation colour for your skin tone- warm, neutral, or cool. Guess what, Lauder double wear caters to many diverse skin tone. After about 8 hours Il noticed some shine spots, which can be fixed by brushing on some translucent or a light pressed power.

If you want a foundation that will last for 10 hours, and is honestly picture perfect, invest in a bottle, but don't forget to get a colour match! Moreover, If you have not tried this foundation I100% recommend it.

I am SO impressed with this foundation!
It covers very well and leaves a wonderful skin like finish. I find that I do not have to set this with a poder which saves even more money!


Also, Sears Canada has a promotion on till the 29th (or while supplies last!). I bought my double wear today in a kit with a brush, night repair serum and primer for an extra $11. I also received a clutch with a full sized moisturizer, lip stick, and mascara, perfume, cleanser and a 2nd serum. Total cost was $60.46.
(The foundation alone would have been $42.50 tax!) DEAL!!!

My skin is super oily on the tzone and oily everywhere else. I LOOOOVE this foundation, it has a great coverage, quite natural finish/looking, long lasting. It covers my minor imperfection with one coat and it cover ANY kind of blemish in two coats. It looks super natural, as long as you apply it well. Don't pack this foundie on your brush, rather work slowly with thin coat on the brush and work on one area at a time. Because my skin is super oily, it gets too oily after about 5 hours, BUT THE COLOR STAYS PUT. I have worn this foundation for 12 hours and although my face was shiny, this foundation was still looking great and not patchy.

I'm an NC42 in MAC pro long wear foundie, and 3W2 CASWEW is my perfect match. It matches my skin in daylight and in any other lights.

Anyone with normal-oily skin would probably love this foundation! :D

Now about the price, seriously people you're gonna use this up for at least two years, so if you count the cost-per-use, it's actually very affordable.

The packaging is quite annoying though, however I have this little spatulla I got from an eyecream I bought years ago, and I used the spatulla to get a lil bit of the foundie. Also, I always blend the foundation on a little plate before applying it on my face using a flat foundation brush. Some people might think I'm crazy or unpractical, but thats the only way I can do my foundation, and maybe that's why I love using flat foundation brush, because I think I use it the *right* way rather than packing on too much foundation on the brush and the application becomes streaky and hideous.

ANYWAY I totally love this foundation and I recommend it to everyone with normal-oily skin! :D

I have acne prone skin with scarring and full coverage is a must for me!The coverage is amazing and it never looks cakey.Can't leave out that this foundation is true to its word and it lasts ALL DAY. Worth the money!

Great foundation for full coverage. No need to re-apply. It is expensive but well worth it. Lots of shades to use and combine

I was watching YouTube and saw a friend of mine had tried the Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation. She said she really liked it and it looked like it gave great overage. I decided to try it. I went to my local Sears, and saw a sign on the counter that stated they would give me a 10 day sample of the foundation! I asked about it and they DID give it to me! It turns out any store that sells Estee Lauder does have this option to try the foundation before you buy. I was matched to the color Pure Beige and went home with my 10 day sample.

This foundation lasts all day! I didn`t have to do a touch up once. I was amazed after 8 hours, I still had it on! The ONLY thing I was not thrilled about was that it did come off on my shirt collar, which it isn`t suppose to do. It gave me a full coverage and I wasn`t even in need of a concealer. I used my fingers and a brush to blend it out. LOVE IT. It lasts for HOURS!!
