Great foundation if you do the right steps before applying..

Okay so I’ve had this foundation since December and hated it at first because it was SO dry and made my skin look flaky. After trial and error and trail again, I’ve found the BEST way to apply this particular foundation.
Step one: exfoliate and cleanse your face.
Two: use your favourite toner
Three: use your favorite moisturizer and eye cream/eye serum.
Four: PRIMER! I really like the Nude by Nature primer as it is a creamy moisturizer type primer rather than most typical silicone-based primers. Let it dry!!!
Five: apply this foundation lightly in “dabs” with a DAMP makeup sponge. Make sure you get the sponge wet and ring it out first!
Six:apply your a tying powder and other makeup.
Seven: Spray to set!

A+!

Long wearing, soft matte foundation. Great for my combination skin, and the first foundation I've found that's light enough for my skin (shade 100). Will be re-purchasing.

Fenty Beauty Kills It !

There are pros and cons to this product for me. I will start by saying that the pricepoint is really good for a high end foundation, and the shade range is incredible. I also really love the full coverage look this foundation gives me , and it is not overly matte.

The cons of this product for me is that it can tend to look cakey throughout the day , even when I don't apply much. This foundation also seemed to clog my pores and cause occasional breakouts which was disappointing.

Not worth the price!

For the amount of foundation it comes with the price is worth it. However for the coverage, the price isn’t worth it. The colour oxides onto your skin so I would go for a lighter colour.

I thought it was okay, until I didn't

I liked this foundation when I started using it- but it was the first higher end foundation I had tried so my expectations weren't high, plus I really wanted to like it because it was Rihanna's product. I was initially told by a Sephora employee that I was shade 150. I'm usually the lightest shade of foundation so this didn't quite seem right. I used it for a while, but eventually got a bottle of 120 which is the next lightest neutral shade. It could still be lighter and can look a little orange on me.

After using this for a few months, I realized I had gotten extremely self conscious about hot my face looked. The foundation was very cakey. It didn't cover redness. It clings to all of the imperfections on my face- acne, dryness and every single peach fuzz hair that exists on my face.

Exact shade with great coverage.

I love how this product does its job. It covers all my dark spots and acne scars without using concealer. It's long lasting and at a reasonable price when compared to other foundations. It has a wide assortment of shades available for every skin tone. However, if you have oily skin then it could get cakey at the end of the day.

This is by far the best foundation I’ve ever used!! It goes on smoothly and doesn’t make my skin look or feel dry! It also has great coverage! Will definitely repurchase

Colour match perfecto!

I finally got a chance to try this foundation. I tried a lighter shade on in the store, my actual match was of course sold out, and the blend was 95% just right. So in finally receiving my actual colour match, I was pretty hyped about it. The foundation in itself, blends very well and is buildable throughout the day if needed. The only thing I regret is not getting the fenty primer. Any primer can do but with this foundation being a matte foundation and drying upon application, your face needs to be well moisturized. I would recommend going light on the foundation and if there is a need to apply more throughout the day, to use the match stick foundation which is a bit more creamier and would add a bit of softness throughout

Best Shade Range!

My new holy grail foundation. I love how the shade range is so extensive that the foundation actually matches my skin tone perfectly! It looks like I'm not even wearing foundation.
