Okay shampoo, but smells like hair dye.

After using this shampoo a few times, I felt like it gave a really effective cleanse. I like that there was Salicylic Acid in the formula, although it was pretty far down the ingredient list. I don't however, love that there is SLS included in the formula. Value for the product is great, and you do not need a lot as the SLS lathers significantly. The shampoo smelt great when it was in the bottle, very fresh and crisp. However, after lathering I noticed that it began to smell very similar to at-home hair dye which really threw me off. I would not recommend the product because of that reason.

Delightful surprise

Hesitant by how liquid the fluid was in it at first but after using it it turned out that I liked it pleasant smell to it and lasted afterwards. I wonder how long it’ll last for that’s my only thing with it since it’s liquid and easier to empty in one shot

Nothing like Aloe to soften dry hair

I have always been a fan of Garnier, from their hair care products to their hair coloring kits and the Aloe Treat didn't disappoint either. The smell was mild, not too strong, the lather was nice and I found it really made a difference on my hair.

Average Shampoo

I got it for free as part of the #ChickAdvisorEcoBox. My first impressions are that it is an average shampoo. I liked that it uses more natural ingredients but am disappointed to find SLS sulfates so high up on the ingredient list. It is the lathering agent in shampoos that you want to avoid with colour treated hair. So not sure why it lists that as safe even though it did strip some of the colour. The scent of Aloe is non offensive but I would’ve probably preferred the other more fruity scent. The bottle is cute though and reminiscent of a shampoo from a higher end clean haircare line that I’ve used.

Smells Amazing!

I got this for free from ChickAdvisor's Eco box.

Just by reading the label on the shampoo, I already like it. It is 98% naturally dervived ingredients in a vegan formula with no silicones. Also good for coloured hair which is a bonus. It has a light scent which I really like. Doesn't foam up as much compared to other shampoos. After first use, my hair felt nice and smooth. Second day hair was still good.

So it smells so good and it is very hydrating it also has aloe in it it is a amazing shampoo definitely will recommend when I put it in my hair it feels so good

Good product!

I received this product free from chickasvisor. I don't normally veer away from my salon products because I have color treated fire red hair but, I gave it a try!

First, I was kind of excited to use it after reading the Ingredience. 98% eco friendly/natural ingredients, vegan, 94% biodegradable and 'safe for colored hair'.

Second, it smells great! Very lightly scented but fresh!

I did find it doesn't lather as much as my normal shampoo but I expected that with being more on the natural side. Because it didnt lather, I found myself using more product than I normally would.

As mentioned, I have bright fire red hair. It did strip some of my color while washing but not enough that I was mad about it or would never use it again. I didn't use conditioner or any of my normal styling products after using the shampoo because I wanted to see how it did on it's own. My hair does feel slightly dry today after letting it air dry.

Overall, I think this is a great product for someone who is passionate about using eco friendly products, has a hair care budget and enjoys the simpler beauty lifestyle!
