Serum AND sunscreen?! Revolutionary!

I like to try different skincare products all of the time, but one thing that is a must is that they are vegan and clean. I’m happy to see that Garnier is jumping on the bandwagon! I love the refreshing smell of this line from Garnier.

This is the first serum that I’ve come across that has sunscreen in it. That was definitely my favourite aspect of this product as I’m able to get the hydrating serum and sunscreen part of my daily routine all in one shot. Since it had SPF in it I only used it during the day as opposed to at night. After daily use for a few weeks though I did notice that my skin was consistently hydrated! The price point is really affordable, and you can find the product at your local drugstore.

Garnier Hyalu-Melon Serum Cream

It’s an innovative 3-in-1 product (serum, moisturizer & SPF in one bottle), great for those who don’t have much time for an extensive routine in the morning (like me). It visibly hydrated my skin on first application and has the same lovely scent as the wash. Unfortunately, I think the SPF in this product stings my eyes. It also leaves a bit of a sticky/greasy feeling on the skin after and takes some time to be fully absorbed by the skin. Sadly, it also pills under the slightest bit of make-up.
