A friend of mine recommended this lotion to me so I decided to stray from my go-to face lotion and try it out. I agree with the others that the gel cream texture is quite pleasant and the cooling sensation is soothing. It does have a stronger scent than most facial lotions but I liked it (I can see it bothering some people though). I did not find that it was particularly moisturizing, though I did like the smoothness of my skin after using it and agree with shiorim that it makes for a good make-up base.

My complaint is that I have somewhat sensitive skin and it reacted to this lotion over time. I used it for several weeks before I started to develop miniscule red bumps on my forehead and elsewhere in my t-zone. Not attractive. I discontinued use and the bumps went away so I am sure it was this lotion that did it.

Overall I think it is quite mediocre and wouldn't really recommend it. There are other (better) gel creams on the market with lighter scents that do a better job of moisturizing, though they might be a tad more expensive

I saw this on a beauty blogger's website and several magazines so tried it out when I saw it on sale at shoppers.

Price: normally I believe this is almost $18 but I got it for $12. I think its a fair price for the amount you get (its a fairly large jar) and you don't use a ton of it at a time

Smell: it has a light, refreshing scent. Nothing offensive and I didn't react to it (and I have very sensitive skin to scents).

It is a gel cream so it absorbs almost instantly and leaves a smooth feeling. I don't find it moisturizing enough for my very very dry spots on my cheeks, but its a great pre-makeup base. It also has a refreshing, cooling sensation after you apply it which feels amazing after you get out of the shower. Would def. recommend this to anyone with oil skin also as the formula is perfect for that.

I was unsure whether I wanted to buy this. I knew that I needed a moisturizer, but I just didn't know what to get. I received a sample with a coupon in the mail. I figured if it was good, then I would go get it. I tried it, and the first thing noticed when I opened it was the smell - it smells great. Refreshing actually. It was a gel, which was odd for me - I know that most moisturizers are lotions. But I like that it is a gel, no oil involved! Which is great for my combination skin. I put it on my face, and it went quite well. It was smooth and refreshing to the skin. It stayed wet a bit longer than I would have liked, but when it dried, my skin was smooth and looked good. As per the directions, you should use morning and at night. I decided to use the coupon and buy the product. $7 is the average price for the product, a bit much, but since you don't have to use too much, its worth it. The product should last a while.

The look of the container is nice, its small, and compact. Allows for easy use of product, and has enough room when it gets lower to be able to still get the product on your fingers - so you can get every ounce of this product! No money wasted here. The color of the gel moisturizer is a light green.

I have found this product at stores such as Wal-Mart and Target, and even grocery stores such as Safeway.

This product is a must for anyone who needs moisturizer.

I have never used Garnier products other than shampoo/conditioner before. I was reading the 2010 Beauty Awards issue of Allure and it said that this moisturizer was the best for normal/oily skin. I like that it's a gel, instead of a lotion, because that way I KNOW there's no oil in it (i don't want to add any more shine to my already slick skin). The gel absorbs very quickly into my face...however, before full absorption, it is a little bit sticky, but after about 2-3 minutes, my face is completely smooth. This product has a great fresh scent! It's my favourite smelling moisturizer so far. I've been looking for a facial moisturizer to take the place of my Kiehl's one - I just don't want to pay $35 for a moisturizer anymore - and Garnier Nutrioniste Moisture Rescue Gel-Cream is my new drugstore favourite! I recommence this product to anyone wanting to combat their oily skin, while still keeping the essential moisture that your face needs.

My daily facial routine can't go without this product! This hydrating gel really brings moisture back into your skin. My skin used to have dry patches around the cheek areas, but this gel seemed to moisturize the dry parts and even out my skin.

Although this product is new to North Americans, it really is a must-have for people with combination or dry skin. This type of hydrating gel really works wonders, and I can't imagine my skin routine without it!
