I love Micellar Water Cleansers and was so thrilled to have the opportunity to try the Garnier Micellar Water during the Chickadvisor campaign! I found that it was highly effective in removing my waterproof liner and mascara. It did take a little more work to remove my all day stay lipstick - but that stuff clings - lol! My skin felt clean and not tight or too dry. Absolutely no residue - Although I did find this formulation to be a little bit "heavier" if that's the word I'm looking for - compared to my normal brand. That being said it did a fabulous job and comes in at about a third of the price of my regular water - which is an awesome value for a highly effective product. A definite thumbs up from me!

I was excited to give this a try as I feel that waters and oils and such are having their day right now!
I like that it does not dry out my skin, as I tend to have pretty dry skin so that part was nice!
But I felt like it was a tad oily. I have been using it as my sole cleanser and I have been having little tiny whitehead breakouts, which is not usual for me.
I like it as a way to remove eye makeup and I think I will continue to use it, but after I have washed my face with my cleansing oil as a a final makeup remover.

I was so excited to have the opportunity to review Garnier's SkinActive Micellar Water as part of ChickAdvisor's Product Review Club. I've heard a ton about micellar waters, and this was my first experience with it. I have to say that I didn't love the product like I thought I would. I used it daily at night for a week to remove my makeup and cleanse my face. It didn't remove eye makeup well at all - I had to go back and use a cleansing cloth afterwards to remove all the mascara that the micellar water missed. For that reason alone, I wouldn't swap this product into my routine - too inconvenient needing to remove my makeup with another product, and then use this to cleanse my skin. Other than that though, it didn't irritate my sensitive skin and I didn't have a problem with the scent. Unfortunately, the price is too high for something that didn't work for me. :(

First, I'd like to thank Garnier and Chick Advisor for giving me the opportunity in trying this product. Now, I was shocked at first when I opened this. Full size product. I've never used micellar water before, so I had to read the instructions on how to use it. I loved how it made my skin feel more refreshed and clean after just one use. Secondly, the ease of opening the bottle was/is also a bonus. Knowing you don't need a lot of this stuff, it can last awhile. Lastly, it pretty much does what is says it does. It's a great "wake up" for your skin.

I was lucky to be picked as part of the Chick Advisor Review Club to try Garnier SkinActive Micellar Water. I was surprised to see that it was such a huge bottle, which is nice because it will last me for awhile. The bottle was easy to open, and the product easy to use, just add to a cotton ball and wipe. I liked that there was no smell and it wiped clean all my makeup and foundation. It did not feel like it was drying out my skin at all, which was really great. It left my skin clean, and even looking. It did not sting at all like some make up removers do. Overall this is a really great product for make up removal. I will definitely add this to my nightly routine.

I received this product as part of the Chick Advisor Product Review Club.

I like the product because it has no smell. Love the packaging. My skin feels soft after using it. It cleanse the face and removes make up. However, I still feel like it isnt enough to just use it alone without any help of other cleansers. I still felt like there's some ingredients that lacks the product. The refreshing feeling is there after using it but few minutes later I still feel an urge to cleanse my face again.

I received the Garner SkinActive Micellar Water for review as part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club and have been using it since receiving it. I was really excited to try this, as i'm a die hard fan of BIODERMA. But, i think this just may replace my Bioderma on days which i am strapped on cash! the formula is super light and non-irritating and it removes my eye makeup fairly well. I wear waterproof black eyeliner and mascara daily. I'd definitely recommend this product to anyone thats looking for a quick cleanser/makeup remover!

Note: I received this product as part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club. Thanks ChickAdvisor! :)

    Pros:
    - effective at removing my face makeup (*have not tried this product with eye makeup)
    - non- irritating formula
    - love the packaging

    Cons:
-I feel like it still leaves a slight residue on the skin (it is very slight, I have a feeling that most people wouldn't notice)
    - fragrance is not really my favorite scent but it is light enough that it doesn't bother me

I received this product to try courtesy of the ChickAdvisor Review Club.

I have used this for cleansing for 5 days and I can't say that it will be a regular product purchase for me. Please note that I wore little or no make up during my trial period and that I have sensitive combination skin.

    - Easily wipes off make up.
    - Face feels soft after use.
    - No irritation occurred with use.
    - Not a good cleanser for people with oily skin.

Bottom line is that it is great for quickly removing makeup but I would suggest still continue using a regular cleansing routine.

I received the Garner SkinActive Micellar Water for review as part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club, and have been using it for the past two weeks. I've heard so much about the effectiveness and convenience of micellar water as a "no water needed" make-up cleanser and was very excited to try this product. I do not use a lot of make-up on a daily basis - some BB cream, waterproof gel eyeliner, a bit of blush, and some lipstick. I've been using the Tatcha Pure One-Step Camellia Cleansing Oil since Christmas and it has quickly become my cleanser of choice for its ease of use. I was hoping that the micellar water would serve as a convenient alternative for times when I'm too lazy or tired to do a complete face clean. Unfortunately, the micellar water was not as quick or effective in removing my make-up. I ended up using quite a few micellar water-laden cotton pads to clean my face, but it did not clean off all of my eyeliner. I needed to use a more traditional face cleanser to remove the rest of the make-up. I think the product works well if you wear minimal make-up and do not use a lot of waterproof make-up. Otherwise, consider this to be the first step in your cleansing ritual and follow up with a face wash product.
