I was sent the Garnier SkinActive Miicellar Water to try from ChickAdvisor. I have been trying the product out for a couple of weeks now, to make sure that I did not get any reactions from it. After a couple of weeks of use, I have really fallen in love with this product! I have used the Bioderma Sensibio H20 (which retails for about $30 for 500mL) in the past, so, I did have high expectations for this Garnier alternative. The Garnier SkinActive, in comparison, retails for about $10 for 400mL.

I like that there are no oils or perfumes in this product - it is safe to use for all skin types and even near the eyes. I don't have sensitive skin, but I do have sensitive eyes - and many similar products leave my eyes burning. The Garnier SkinActive Micellar Water does not burn my eyes. It leaves my face feeling fresh and clean. I like to swipe my face with it in the mornings, as well as to remove my makeup in the evenings. The texture is just like water - it is not at all sticky or tacky.

I also like the convenience of the flip-top cap - it makes it easy to pour out and control how much product you're using.

I received this from Chick Advisor to try as part of a free trial. Product was easy to use, no mess, no fuss. Worked great at removing my make up. I wasn't sure at first because I'm used to using cream removers and this is just like water but it did the trick. Didn't irritate or dry out my skin either.

This is a great product for my sensitive eyes! I was able to use it without having to worry about any eye irritation at all. It quickly and gently removed all traces of makeup. Most products are oily but this goes on smoothly without leaving any residue at all. My skin felt fresh and clean. Being able to easily swipe over my eyes and lips as well are definitely a bonus. A great product like this is long overdue!

I wanted to give this a fair run, and have been using it daily for about 2 weeks as my primary makeup remover.

This is very gentle on my skin, and is effective at removing makeup such as foundation, powder, and eyeshadow. For more stubborn makeup such as mascara I still found I had to use a specific eye makeup remover product, otherwise I would have had to scrub to get the mascara off - not a good idea for your lashes.

While I like the idea of a water-based cleanser, I am still on the fence about them. One thing to consider is the added expense of cotton pads. I had to use. A LOT of them to ensure I removed every trace of makeup.I burnt through around 5 each time I used the SkinActive Micellar Water. It's also not easy to transport to the gym or work without fear of it spilling everywhere. So, I found myself reaching back for my all-in-one facial wipes for that.

However, a little does go a long way and, after 2 weeks of constant use, I still have about 3/4 left in the bottle.

Great product! Took my make up off with ease, no excessive rubbing needed. Left my skin feeling clean and fresh, and it isn't oily like some which I loved. Definitely a must have!

Garnier Skin Active Micellar Water is a game changer for me. I've tried MANY different kinds of make up removers, most of which either dried my skin out OR didn't remove my make up at all. The few that actually did work required serious scrubbing (especially when it came to my mascara), which left my face feeling & looking a bit raw.

I was sceptical of Garnier Skin Active Micellar Water; my initial thoughts were "how can something that contains NO alcohol or harsh ingredients remove my make up WITHOUT scrubbing?" I owe Garnier an apology... because it did.. and continues to. THIS PRODUCT WORKS.

BEST OF ALL; Not only is my make up literally wiping right off (even my waterproof mascara & eyeliner), but it requires no scrubbing & soap. After I'm finished, my face feels & looks clean and refreshed. This has replaced my make up remover AND bedtime facial wash... I'm impressed.

I would most definitely recommend this product - and I have. I fully intend to add it to my skin care regime. Don't miss out on this fantastic product!!

Loved it from the start! Deep cleans without any trace. Already recommended it to a few people. Doesn't take much, either. One squirt on a cleansing pad is all you need.

I was chosen to try this product for free from the Chickadvisor product review club. I was especially excited to try this, since I absolutely love micellar waters and usually use the Bioderma one, which is pretty darn pricey. I'm happy to report that this one works just as good, if not better than Bioderma. It removes even the most stubborn waterproof mascara without leaving my skin sore and red. I wear a lot of foundation too and after using this, it's literally gone without a trace! My one complaint is that when I use it in the evening, I wake up with oilier than usual skin. But that's not even an issue considering I wash my face in the morning anyways. I really love this stuff and it's definitely gonna replace my old brand!!

This product is very light (too light), I didn't feel as if I was getting an optimal cleanser. It felt as if I was just wiping my face with water & nothing more, I guess I needed to feel a bit heavier of a product. The size of the bottle was decent for it's price & it has a nice scent to it.

I was so happy to receive this from chick advisor to review. I often have problems with my eyes getting irritated when I use make up removers, not so with garnier skin active micellar water. It is just like using water except it leaves my skin feeling invigorated after I use it. I love that it it is dye free and scent free. It goes on easily with a cotton pad and it is very effective yet gentle at removing make up. I will continue to buy this and I have recommended it to friends.
