Great Shampoo Bar for Zero Plastic Waste

I had tried the Coconut & Organic Aloe Vera Shampoo Bar for normal hair. I really appreciate their design & packaging as it's a great way to help reduce plastic waste by cutting out the bottle. It's very simple to use, worked amazingly well & smells excellent. It really hydrates my hair & I feel my hair so soft and detangled! This is my first time to try on shampoo bar & I really enjoy using it. I think it can last for about 2 months long. I am sure I will try more other flavors with different functions too.

Good buy

I like the packaging, the bar like shampoo. I noticed if you rub it directly in your hair covers and foams better than if you rub your hands on it and then your hair. It left my hair kinda dry to be honest but my flakes weren’t as bad .

Smells and feels great

Makes my hair feel smooth with a great look to it with an amazing coconut sent that reminds me of summer .the idea of a bar for shampoo is great .I would recommend you try it

Shampoo Bar

I had the opportunity to try Garnier Whole Blends Coconut & Aloe Vera Hydrating Shampoo Bar. To start, the smell was great and after reading the ingredients, I was happy to see all the natural items in it. It felt strange at first to use a bar of shampoo and rub it into my hair and scalp but it quickly lathered. I was very impressed with the amount of lather and how quickly it lathered and the smell was very nice too. My routine when showering is to shampoo first and leave it in while I wash the rest of me. I feel this allows the nutrients and moisturizers in the shampoo to "soak in". Unfortunately, the lather did not maintain its fullness and shortly started to run down my face and into my eyes. I love the fact it does not take up much room and minimal packaging. Overall, it is a great product and if you shampoo and rinse right away it is the perfect product

Not Like Those Old School Shampoo Bars

I've used shampoo bars off and on over my life. I had to stop because of a sensitivity to SLS. I was super excited to be asked to try out this product because it's SLS free! First out of the box, it is definitely fairly strongly scented, but it's pleasant, and doesn't really stick around in your hair (but definitely does stick around in your bathroom). Lathers up well on very wet hair, which in my experience is pretty standard for shampoo bars. Rinses out very very easily, and didn't leave a residue at all. After my hair was quite soft and manageable - not fly away, easy to brush. I'll definitely give this one a go again! Now I just need to find a tin to put my bar in so it doesn't melt away in the shower!

Not as hydrating as described

So I tried this the other morning, it lathers up real well, tbh it's the first time I'm trying a shampoo bar. It was interesting to see how this would be in my hair.

I'm a natural product user, so when I got this bar to try, I was excited and nervous at the same time. I love the idea of it. It's cost efficient, no plastic bottles to recycle, just a cardboard box that is biodegradable.

After washing my hair and conditioning and completing my normal hair care routine, my hair was left with a bit of dryness to it. This left me disappointed. This isn't 100% natural products as I expected.

But for people without hair, or who shave bald, it seems to moisturize their scalp.

I’ve never used a shampoo bar before, I am so excited to test this out! All Garnier products, all over the world are now officially approved by Cruelty Free International under the Leaping Bunny program. I so glad this Shampoo Bar packaged in zero plastic packaging & 100 percent recyclable cardboard to fight plastic pollution one hair wash at a time.

I really like that it's sulfate free and mostly plant based. It smells strong before I even opened the package, but it didn't leave a strong smell on my hair, though I'd still prefer less scent. It does an excellent job of cleaning my fine hair, my hair dose feel nice and shinny but seem to be dry. I needed some conditioner afterwards. They need to make a conditioner bar to go along with it! I have shoulder length hair, I'm guessing it could well last up to approximately 1 month with daily use. Overall, this is a good option if you’re into plastic free and clean ingredient products like this.

Works so well!

I have tried shampoo bars before in the hopes of cutting down on plastic, but they all made my hair either really dry or oily the next day. The Garnier coconut and aloe Vera bar that I tried actually made my hair feel soft and moisturized without getting that oily look. I will certainly be buying it again!

great shampoo

The shampoo bar with the coconut smell was very easy to use,it foams a lot and the smell was wonderfull. I can t wait to try the other fragrances in the near future.
