Great razor! I never get cuts or bumps with this razor. It always catches all my hair and leaves my skin feeling smooth and soft.

most things I will buy whatever is the cheapest....except for razors. I will pay full price if it means high quality razors, and that would be venus embrace. I have tried all kids of brands and types of razors and this is the only brand I am confident to purchase every time

Definitely not impressed with this razor! I was expecting more because of all the positive reviews I read about it... but I guess everyone's different. What works for one gal might not work for someone else. That was the case with me, I bought the Venus Embrace because of all the great reviews I read. When I bought it I was pretty impressed because it's quite cute. Green and purple colour scheme and veryyy comfy handle! However that's about all that it has got goin' on. I shaved my legs with it and was disappointed that the shave I got really wasn't as close as the box claimed it would be. The packaging says that the five blades and whatever else will give you the closest possible shave but this wasn't true for me. I wouldn't recommend this to ladies with coarse hair. I guess it'll work if you have fine or thin hair but unfortunately that's not me :( I also found that it irritated my dry, sensitive skin a bit! Totally unexpected and a huge con. I prefer Venus' Spa Breeze razor. Way closer shave than the Embrace and it didn't turn my legs red either.

The 5 blade Gillette Venus Embrace Razor works much better than a 3 blade. I get fewer -to almost none- nicks or cuts, and the blade lasts much longer before going dull. I love the shape of the handle; it curves just like the curves of your leg, so you can manouver a lot easier. Since I first switched to Gillette Venus Embrace Razor, I haven't gone back to the previous one(s).

This was my first razor and I loved it. Since it was my first, I didn't have anything to compare it so I didn't think that other razors could be bad until I've tried other ones. This razor didn't irritate my sensitive skin, it gave a close shave, and it bends at different angles so I was able to reach all the different areas. Everyone should try this.

I am currently using this razor and i find it to be pretty good compared to other razors on the market. i find with this one it last long as it doesn't get dull so quickly. I haven't had any problems with this razor as of yet. It does the job and it never breaks my skin into a rash.

I got this initial as a sample which persuaded to begin buying venus razors (I purchased the divine venus after I had to toss my sample). I had been using Bic Daisy disposables and I would get really bad razor burn and ingrown hairs. I also found I couldn't use the bics more then once or twice (or my legs would be so irritated I would just avoid shaving altogether). After trying the Venus I was surprised at how smooth my legs were, and more surprised the next morning with no ingrown hairs and no itchiness. I was skeptical after I had used the blade twice but I found that my legs remained irritation free up until after the 13th shave when the blades were starting to dull.
I also really like the handle when shaving my legs, it's a great design. Overall I've since stuck to Gillette razors, I've received shick intuitions as samples and they performed very poorly up against my Gillette razors.

Currently the razor I'm using right now. The 5 blades lasts much longer then my old Venus cartridges and the shave is just as good and smooth. I don't get razor burn using Gillette razors and the handle design is great for legs. This is my favorite razor!

I tried it out after seeing the commercials for it, and I'm quite happy with it. It does what it's supposed to do, gives you a close shave that lasts all day and doesn't nick the skin. I've only ever had one ankle cutting incident but that was probably my own fault, trying to shave too fast. All in all this is a good razor. The only 'con' I can think of is the price is pretty steep and the refills cost almost the same as the razors themselves.

Definitely the best razor. I only use Venus, ever since watching the commercial! I would recommend to everyone who's looking for a good razor.
There is no con, except for the fact that it's disposable. The ones where they have refillable razors are just as expensive as the razor itself...I would suggest keeping it around for the lazy days when you are not in the mood for waxing, or other methods.
But when I need a razor, this is my GO-TO for sure! Cuts super close to the skin, without ever slicing through. Feels smooth to the touch as well!
