    Ermm

I got this as a sample and was very excited to try it out.Howvever it was much more clumpier than I expected it to be. On my eyes it felt very stuck together and so they needed brushing out. They did however make them much longer.

    Perfect Base Mascara

I really like this mascara is quite pricey but it is high quality. I love to use this mascara to length my lashes. That is what it is best for. Otherwise it does not make your lashes look voluminous. It is perfect for spider lashes.

    Great mascara, separates lashes

Noir Interdit mascara comes in the well-known
Givenchy packaging, with the famous black and silver ribbon design. It’s
a bit bulky, but I don’t mind it. I’m becoming more appreciative of the
square packaging, too, since the mascara doesn’t roll around. The
mascara itself is scented, more than any other mascara I’ve used. It’s
definitely a nice perfume scent, and I thought it would bother me, but
it doesn’t. Once on my lashes I can’t really notice the scent all the
time, I more catch it occasionally during the day.

The main feature of this mascara is an innovative
wand that can be folded up to 90 degrees for better control. At first I
thought this was a gimmick and used the mascara without folding the
wand, but once I tried folding it at different angles I realized how
genius this option is. It really does increase control, especially when
I’m trying to get the little lashes in the corners and when I’m putting
mascara on my left eye (I am right-handed). The wand flips back and
forth easily, but once folded it doesn’t move at all while I’m applying
the mascara. It really didn’t take long for me to master the wand.
With my long lashes I always need to comb or
separate them after applying almost any mascara. However, Noir Interdit
mascara has a comb-shaped brush with bendable, shortened bristles, that
combs my lashes better than other mascaras. I get a lot of length,
enough curl, but not much volume, and that is exactly how the mascara is
advertised. I found that I can build up some more volume with another
coat, without clumping, and that makes this mascara great for day wear
and for more intense evening eye looks. I haven’t noticed any smudging
or flaking with the mascara. It’s not the most intense mascara I’ve
tried, but it’s close to the top ones.

    Innovative but not a favourite

Very cool and innovative technology that I've never seen in a mascara wand before. However I don't see much of a difference in application from when it's straight vs bent. I do like the style of bristles, in that they scoop each lash, but I didn't see any increase of volume to my lashline. I saw noticeable length but not much of a curl.
Good for those who want length to their lashes, but this isn't for me.

Also this is VERY heavily scented, so be wary if you're sensitive to fragrance!
