Too sweet and slightly odd preserved taste

I was looking forward to trying the Good & Simple Chocolate Chip Oatmeal muffins - I liked that it had real chocolate chips and oatmeal in them and no artificial flavors or colors. However, a few days ago, I grab one of the muffins for breakfast at work in the morning and with the first bite, I noticed that the muffins were way too sweet. And then half way through eating the muffin, there was a very odd preserved taste with the muffins, which turned me off them. I was really looking forward to trying them, but unfortunately, don't think I can recommend them to friends or family.

Great to try!

This product was great to try! They smelled amazing and tasted great! The product was moist and tasted fresh. The calories were very reasonable in comparison to competitors product calories. I thought the quality of this product was good, however the price is a deal breaker for me. The muffins are small and only 4 of them for the price, I would not habe tried the product if not offered threw this site.

great muffins!! I would buy again

I really enjoyed these. Although for the amount you get, it is quite expensive.
The taste and quality were great, clearly made fresh. My fiancé really enjoyed them as well!

Good & Simple sums it up

These were pretty tasty - exactly as expected pretty much from grocery store muffins. To be honest, the bakery at my grocery store does it better, but these actually ended up coming in handy as a last minute take on a camping trip snack.
The texture was decent, and the taste was good.

Good for on the go snacks/breakfast

I received these for free from Chick Advisor Product Review Club. I really like that these muffins are EASY. If you're in a rush or on the go a and don't have a lot of time these are a great idea. The ingredients are good and simple just like the company name says and the product is decent. When I first took it out of the packaging it does smell like a packaged muffin would smell rather than a fresh muffin, but it is what it is - it is a packaged muffin. The texture of these muffins are GREAT, the oatmeal adds a great texture to the product, and the chocolate chips add a little extra flavour to it. Overall the muffins are good, would I purchase these all of the time? Probably not, but I would if I was going on a road trip or crunched for time.

Fine but not dandy

Good & Simple Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Muffins were okay but not great. I enjoyed the fact that they are individually wrapped so I could toss one into my purse for a late day snack. Although I found them moist and cakey, they just didn't have enough flavour for me to go "YUM"! Maybe not my first choice muffin next time I go shopping. #gotitfree

Good muffin, but too pricey

This muffin are good. They are just baked enough to be moist and they have delicious taste. But, you can find better muffin from other compagnie for less money. This brand is a bit pricey for the amount of muffin they have in the boxe. Although I would by it again since they are tastefull.

A bit pricey

I love how these muffins are individually wrapped! They're perfect for busy mornings or a quick snack on the go. They aren't overly sweet and the texture is what I like in a muffin (dense yet crumbly). Personally I find them a bit pricey compared to other pre-packaged muffins. I liked them, but I'm not sure if I would purchase them on a regular basis.

I would definitely recommend trying this product .

Thanks to Chick Advisor i was able to try these muffins for free. The muffins were good and convenient for my family especially for breakfast when my kids and my huband and i are in a rush . I love that the muffins are all natural with less preservatives . The only thing i found was that not all groceries stores carry them , only Metro and Freshco have them at present. We had to go to a few Metro stores before we found them . The price is a little expensive $4.99 for 4 muffins , but they are worth a try .

OK - good in a pinch

These had lots of chocolate chips in them and they were nice and moist which was good. They tasted like a packaged muffin though so I wouldn't buy them regularly. Also, I typically avoid products with palm oil which these contain.
