I can't believe I ever suffered the torture of metal clip elastics. These are sent from heaven. They don't get stuck in your hair or rip it out every time you remove them. They are beautiful and simple and worth every penny. I have actually biught a couple cheaper versions of these elastics and take my advice ladies they are cheap for a reason. Most of them busted after 1 - 2 uses but my goody elastics last much much much longer. I know they seem expensive but spend the money, you won't regret it.
These are staples in my hair accessories stash! They are so comfortable and don't damage your hair!
They easily come out. They start out the diameter of a nickel and after a few uses expand to around a quarter. I have not had one break yet and they are still elastic after they stretch out. I have had them over a year now and still have half a pack unused, even though I wear them almost every day. These are a great deal on here and they work perfect. They are too tiny, just big enough to fit over my whole braid. They are also very flexible and I have had yet to have one break. I reuse them often, surprisingly they don't lose their stretch and hold well after many uses!
I have a lot of hair! Like a lot of hair, and these are the only hair elastics that ever seem to stand the test of time....assuming I don't lose them.
I love these hair elastics. Normally I use the thicker ones, but this brand only. My hair is super long and I always wear it up at work. These work well, until my cats steal them and hide the elastics on me. I only ever had these break after I used them to the point that they no longer had any elastic in them. I would never use any other brand of hair elastic ever again, these are just amazing. They do not rip, tear or get tangled in my hair, ever, even when wet.
This review is for both the thing elastics and the thicker ones. First of all, I have thick, curly hair, so if I use the thin elastics, I generally use two together to make them stronger and because two seem to keep my pony tails in tighter. I do find that after many uses, they will either snap or the elastic separates from the material.
With the thick ones, I find that when I go to stretch them out to use on my hair, quite often they snap right away. When they don't snap, they hold my hair really well. Again, as with the thin elastics, after many uses, they will either snap or the elastic separates from the material.
In general, they are good elastics for short term use. It's a good thing they come with a ton in a package because the do eventually wear out. (I've seen friends who have some that are soooooooo stretched out from use and theirs never snapped! Actually kinda' jealous because those stretched out ones work so well! I find the thick ones can be hard to wrap around hair the first few times.) They are decently priced too, so it's not the end of the world when they do break. The fact that there is material around the elastic is fantastic because just plain elastic pulls out your hair. And, there are no metal end pieces, which also pull out your hair, so that is great as well.
I have to put my hair up in elastics everyday to meet our company safe policy, I only use the Goody Ouchless, as they do not break my hair, they stay in place and come in wonderful colors to co-ordinate with clothes each day :) Literally can't go a day Monday to Friday without them :)
One of my favorite elastics! I hate the ones with the little metal bit that gets caught in your hair, so I almost always buy the Goddy ouchless ones. They come in colors to match your hair color as well, so it's nice that they blend in well. I also like that they're slightly thicker as well.
They do what they're supposed to do and I always have them around for working out and to pull my hair back at work. I find they stretch out at a similar rate to other brands though.
I must have these on a daily basis. I can't say that they are indestructible because I have worn out hundreds at this point. They do break after some wear, but they are far better than the ones I used in the past.
