Better out there

It did lightened my hair, though I left it on twice as long as instructed as my hair is dyed dark brown, but if didn't lighten it enough to be the blonde I wanted. It made my hair orangy and I didn't really like the colour. I like that it didn't dry my hair out like other bleach products. The smell was better too.

I received the package and I kept eyeing it, a little stressed about using it by myself ! But.... super easy ! Good quality, gives a nice shine at the end !

I don’t recommend it with black hair

I have a very dark black hair so i wasn’t excited to try to lighten it and I wasn’t satisfied with the results maybe it will work better on brown hair I gave it 3 because I love the packaging and what comes with it plus my case was different maybe on brown it will work better

I love using at-home hair colour, but this lightening treatment just missed the mark for me. This was able to lighten my dark brown hair, but not evenly. I do have a bit of previous colour in my hair that is many years old, but I don't believe that matters 100%. After applying the lightener, I had parts of my hair that were darker and others that were way lighter. With several treatments, this product would probably work great and get me to blonde hair, but with just the one application, I was only lightened to about a light brown. I'm probably going to stick with salon lightening...

Need a few more applications.

This product kind of worked on my dark hair, but not quite there. Some areas of my hair were way darker than others and I wish the box had some with a comb for more even spread. For the areas where the product did work best, they're almost at the lightness that I was aiming for, though I'd need a few more applications to reach an actual blonde... Love that the box comes with a purple after-treatment conditioner to tone the hair. Smells nice, and great quality.

need a stronger solution

The box comes with an applicator bottle with developer lotion, a tube of lightening cream, a packet of booster, plastic gloves, and a sachet of color after treatment. I only wanted some sections of my hair bleached so I separated my hair where I want it to be lightened. The instructions were pretty clear and it was very easy to mix together the ingredients. The applicator bottle with the pointed tip made it easy to apply the lightener to the roots.
I only lightened mine for around 30 minutes because it's a new product and I don't want to accidentally screw up my hair. It started to work really well with the parts of my hair that were already pre-lightened from previous dyeing sessions. Unfortunately for the darker parts, it didn't really work very well. My hair just lightened to a red-brown. My hair is pretty coarse and thick so I would've needed to lighten it for 45 minutes to 1 hour, maybe more. However, the package said to not exceed 45 minutes so I don't know if it will even work. I might need to do a bunch of lightening sessions and a few boxes to get the desired results. If that's the case, then I might as well buy another product that's stronger and would work better.
After I rinsed off the lightener, I used the color after treatment to protect my hair. It smelled nice and my hair felt soft and silk afterwards.

Needs more product.

TL:DR - - not enough product for my thin and short hair - - inadequate directions in the pamphlet - - especially when you want to do an ombre look like it offers but really I didn't expect that but it was just lacking - - gloves included were huge, thin plastics so use your own rubber gloves trust me - -

Got 2b Lightened

Upon opening the bottle inside piece of the lid was stuck inside the bottle, and the only way to get it out was to actually push it inside the bottle. Once you add the powder, It took a lil over 5 minutes to full shake to mix. I tried to apply to hair and nothing but powder came out twice and it caught in the spout. My daughter has really short hair, and there was NOT enough product to cover her entire head, which was rather disapointing. So if you end up purchasing this product make sure to buy 2 boxes!!

Somewhat Effective, but not enough dye

I have mixed feelings about this - I feel like there just wasn't enough dye, which left the result inconsistent.
That said, the parts that did get enough dye turned out pretty similar to what the box advertises and I was impressed considering my hair is quite dark naturally. My hair doesn't seem damaged by it either, which is great. I might recommend it to someone, but advise they need two boxes unless they have quite short hair.

Not for me!

I didn’t like it! It didn’t do that great of a job. At first I felt like it was gonna be really professional judging by all th stuff that came in the box. While mixing it the product had minimal smell, it didn’t have a strong bleach smell which I liked that, but once applied and wash off I didn’t see the results i was hoping for. It also dry about my hair. I am sure that for people with thinner hair it would work better but not for me.
