This has changed my moisture game. Skin looks instantly plumped out and glowy. The packaging in the UK is slightly different. The bottle is huge and so well priced. Sits well with other products. I use it as my serum step in my day and night routine

Such a great find. This a product that I’ve been using before my serum, moisturizer and oils. It is super light, no fragrance, absorbs beautifully into my skin and helps keep it moisturized. Highly recommend.

Weird stuff, but effective

If you're familiar with Japanese or Korean skincare routines you'll know that this 'lotion' goes on your cleansed face before serums and moisturiser. It's intended to condition your face and prepare it to receive further hydration, and it does this super effectively. On its own it doesn't do much, it's just a watery liquid that leaves a momentary stickiness and doesn't seem to have done anything...until you put the next product on! The difference between putting moisturiser on after using this is immense! Your skin absorbs so much better and more smoothly. I use this everyday, it's like a necessary item along with toothpaste and deodorant! Even if I forget to put cream on, my skin is conditioned.

Very hydrating and affordable!

This is a hyaluronic acid serum that has a very thin, almost watery consistency. In Japan, lotion means toner, so this is not a cream. When applied to the skin, it helps pull moisture and water into the skin. You only need one or two drops of the lotion. It comes in a 170mL bottle and costs about $15 so it is very affordable. I recommend for everyone who needs a boost of hydration!

I was so excited to try this having heard great things about Japanese skin care but also because of how well the bottle stand out due to the graphics and packaging. The product is a good size and would easily last for a few months. When opening the silver top, you automatically notice a small plastic cap which protest helps to protect the pump. The pump is a great and easy way to use to dispense although on the first use I did have to unleash it for a good while which I was not expecting. The consistency itself has a transparent watery texture similar to a serum although not as thick. I do like the fact that it is odourless making it a good product for people who do not like/allergic to fragrances. The lotion itself absorbs into the skin and neck really well. I found this also works very well before putting on make up Hyaluronic acid is a substance found naturally in our skin that holds water and helps keep it hydrated and plump so for this to have a high amount is fantastic and really helps hydrate and moisturise the skin aswell as keeping it cool in hot weathers. Pros: Helps soften and moisturise the face.

Impressive moisture at an amazing price!

As we age and are exposed to UV, the skin loses volume as collagen breaks down, the natural hyaluronic acid content of skin decreases, and skin begins to lose its ability to effectively hold moisture. And our skin has to deal with the drying effects of having the heat or air conditioning on! But with Hada Labo Gokujyun Super Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Lotion, there is nothing to fear!

This product combines three different types of hyaluronic acid to pump up hydration to the point where even fine lines are blurred and skin is plumper! I've found this product to be extremely helpful in eliminating dry spots or flaking skin (just add a little more in those areas)! The three variants of hyaluronic acid (HA) have various molecular weights, with the higher molecular weight HA able to attract and bind more water but less capable of deep skin penetration and the lower molecular weight HAs able to penetrate more deeply, though with a slight trade-off in hydrating effects.

It draws moisture from the deeper layers of the skin up to the visible upper layer, so it's important to stay hydrated! In dry conditions, I like to add a final layer of emollient cream to seal in all the moisture that I've added.

This lotion does not look like a traditional cream style lotion, as its consistency is slightly thicker than water. It is best used right after cleansing and before the use of any acids or essences. The lotion soaks into the skin very quickly without requiring you to rub it in.
