Well oh my this is a neat little electric appliance.works for hard vegetables and cheeses of which some include zucchini,carrots,beets,sweet potatoes,beets,turnips etc.also apples.besides spiraling vegetables can ribbon them.very handy.its a little tricky at first for some like carrots but not hard to master at all.got this little gem for christmas as really wanted one.the price i know is not to bad i believe around $39.99 but can probally get on sale.it is a little expensive for such a machine but so cool.i have used 3 times since i have received.i just love it
