Looks good, but transfers!

I bought this without doing much research because I was SO EXCITED to find such a good shade match ("Blanc" is great for us paler ladies!!). For some reason, applying it with a sponge, which is how I typically prefer to apply foundation, seems to make it break down easily, so I always use a brush. The coverage is really good, and overall I like how it looks, but it TRANSFERS SO MUCH! Even with primer and setting spray, I still can't touch my face without product transferring. Probably wouldn't repurchase at this price point.

Great

When I first tried this I hated it, but after messing around with it I’ve fallen in love. I apply it onto my beauty blender and then apply to my face rather than directly to my face from the stick and it works a lot better that way. Great coverage and lasts all day

NEVER HEARD OF THE BRAND, AND NOW I KNOW WHY...

I received by sample from sephora three various shades of hourglass foundation stick to try before I purchase. I was looking for a new foundation, and the beauty consultant suggested the foundation stick. I tried in 3 colors, one lighter, one average to my skin tone and one darker (shell, nude, beige).

Honest opinion...all 3 horrible.
None of them blended well. I had to adjust color with my own at home foundation for these to work and I used three different colors to test.

Also left my face feeling very dry, esp now with the winter dry weather every line, wrinkle, imperfection was shown not hidden as makeup should do.


Never heard of the brand, and now I know why...

Favourite full coverage foundation

Hourglass is one of my favorite brands in the beauty community.
Instead of following the trends and releasing tons of launches they stick with minimal launches with high quality products.
This foundation is one to splurge on if you’re looking for a great one.
I feel like I use more product with the stick than some bottled foundations but the finish makes up for it!

Amazballs!!!!

I love this product! As a makeup junkie I’ve tried my fair share of foundations, but this without a doubt is the best one I love that it comes in so many shades making it super inclusive The coverage can’t be beat, just two small lines on your cheeks and it’ll cover your whole face once it’s blended out You’ll never have to worry about break outs again This is so full coverage that you don’t even have to wear concealer I started wearing the shade Shell and I can’t tell you how many people complimented me on my skin not my makeup but my skin! It looked that natural!

Looks incredible

It comes in many shades, I have the shade alabaster. I use it for special occasions because it looks great. The only downside is that its a bit expensive, which is why I've rated it 3 and a half for value. You wouldnt be able to use it everyday.

Holy grail foundation

What can I say, but this foundation has the best full coverage for my skin. The weightless feel is amazing. I can not recommend this foundation enough. I prefer stick foundation because it is so quick and easy to apply.

sticks to dry patches

I really wanted to love this product... But it just didn't work for me. I saw so many good reviews on Youtube so I bought it. Almost $60 though!! I tried to use it every which way, applied with a sponge, a flat topped brush, with my fingers, it just didn't blend well! And after I do blend it it does look great! But only for about an hour before it wears off and only the parts sticking to drier patches on my face remains. But I have found a use for it! As a concealer and that works for me well.

Flawless Finish

I have oily and acne prone skin and most foundation wear off quickly and/or noticeably break up on my skin. This foundation does not do any of this! I have had this last on my skin all day with no touch ups and it looks great the entire time.
It blends really easily and I don’t have to use too much product to get a good level of coverage. It also is a great base for the rest of my make up. My powder and other liquid/cream product apply smoothly on top.

Flawless skin - and it suits my pale skin!

I have never loved a foundation as much as I love this one. I have very pale skin and the Blanc colour is the first I have found that is a perfect match! It gives me smooth, full coverage and doesn't stick to dry patches even though I have dry skin. Love it!
